Besides: I had an acromioclavicular seperation 4 years ago in a game. I was going up for a header, guy ran under my back and I fell directly on my head and shoulder. Head bleeding, shoulder totally done, complete arm just hanging helplessly down. First the adrenaline kicked in and I was able to walk off the field by myself. Then, a few minutes later, I felt FREEZING cold and had to vomit multiple times because of the hardcore inkicking pain. Pain with injuries like that is massive and it's not uncommon that you begin to freeze like a motherfukker because your system begins to shut down. Might be an explanation why they directly brought a blanket with them.Comment -
Goaler, I had some bad injuries over the year. Including cruciate ligament rupture, broken bones etc.
Goaler, that acromioclavicular seperation was BY FAR the most painful injury I ever had though. Couldn't sleep, couldn't sit, couldn't lie down, couldn't even use the fukkin toilet normally.
Goaler, good thing about injuries is: Your girl is supernice to you during your revocery

Just because you've seen some players dive to get a penalty-kick doesn't mean shit. They do it to make the best out of the situation. I thought this doesn't need be explained, since it's a sports forum but apparently it does.
If we were talkin about which sport is most notorious for whoring out only to get a call their way, yes then it's definitely football. I can't think of any other sport where players that often make a meal out of tackles.
But still, watch English Premierleague and I assure you won't notice these things, even if someone will make a dive, the overall game is very physical with lots of kicks, injuries etc.
Only football can bring these kind of sliding tackles, injuries. Not basketball, not NFL, not even ice-hockey. Rugby, maybe yes.
Don't focus only on the 2 dives you saw throughout a 90 minute match and then generalize about a sport in whole and how it's for pussies and whatnot...Comment -
If you dont think soccer is a physical sport you have never played at the collegiate level or higher.
Unless you have played, you wont understand how bad it hurts to go into a tackle with a dude who is 200 pounds with 5% body fat. Whose legs are the size of most people on here's torsos.Comment -
Pavy maybe he temporarily dislocated his shoulder but it didn't stay dislocated and the tarp wasn't for that
If you saw the game he was up and doing range of motion with his shoulder until he felt pain and walked off the field. You can't do range of motion with a dislocated shoulderComment -

How about the sport that requires you, by the rules, to fight for a living?
Yes, there are soccer players who may know Karate, and there are hockey players who know how to golf. Who Cares?

Baus' line of -1200 was actually quite accurate. for every soccer player that could beat down a Professional hockey player there are 12 hockey players that would punch out a soccer players teeth, tooth by tooth.
And keep in mind, there are a lot more professional soccer players than there are professional hockey players.
