I will probably hedge something to gaurentee myself 4 - 5k, and still have a shot at 30kish if Auburn wins. I honestly think AUB/FSU is a 50/50 game

I agree. I just don't see anyone being able to stop Auburn offensively right now, absolutely firing on all cylinders. Gotta hedge some though if Oklahoma holds on.

Difference between 30k and 38k is negligible, your still going to be stoked about the win.

Losing 5 bucks or winning 5k... you're much happier with one then the other.

I don't have nearly enough confidence in Auburn to risk that many thousands on it. If it did, I would have already since the best number is long gone. Auburn, by 2 miracles, is in this game. They should have had two losses going into the Iron Bowl. The finish to the UGA game was crazy enough. The fact they beat Bama on that returned, missed FG is something from a fairy tale.

There is no such thing as "Team of Destiny" - Florida State is the best team in the country and have proved it all year. They destroyed Clemson and Duke (who everyone thought was a joke until the other night) and this is clearly their title to lose. I think FSU ML is a total lock. The points? That's a different question. So many backdoor possibilities at 8.5 in a game that should probably be over. 15 point game with little time left and next thing you know, TD and heading to onsides kick.

It's not that bad if he were to hedge at the same book.

Hedging at another book, and not getting paid out at the first, would be an absolute disaster.

If he's got 15K, that would guarantee him (assuming it's -300) a nice 5K guarantee, with a chance of 28K.

If you hedge out, you can also play Auburn +8.5 and maybe hit a middle.
