This ^^^^ Haren is still capable of throwing a 6 inning gem, but just because Atlanta isn't "playing for something" doesn't mean their hitters don't want to hit and Haren can toss bp at times. Just wear protection in today's early action.

Would lean Atl here but staying away. They have always done well vs the Natties and even tho Harens last start went well it was vs the lowly Muts whose offense can making anyone look good. Prior 2 starts tho vs Miami and those crappy Muts he gave up 15 hits and 12 earned in just 5 and 2/3 of work in both games combined! Natties are hot tho we could see some runs but I hate betting overs at noon. GL

well the public is probably leaning Washington for 3 reasons: 1) Washington needs the game 2) public always thinks that after a tragedy the home team is going to respond. 3) haren pitched lights out against the fish so they think he found his stuff again. minor is coming off 2 average starts etc etc but just remember the nats are the nats and the braves are the braves don't overthink game1 braves win. now game 2 might be a different story.
