well the public is probably leaning Washington for 3 reasons: 1) Washington needs the game 2) public always thinks that after a tragedy the home team is going to respond. 3) haren pitched lights out against the fish so they think he found his stuff again. minor is coming off 2 average starts etc etc but just remember the nats are the nats and the braves are the braves don't overthink game1 braves win. now game 2 might be a different story.

Not for nothing, but reasons 1-3 sound good to me!

they always throw on extra juice on the team that is ahead... they don't factor in bullpens or closers very much it seems

Was couldn't score since the 1st and still mid game 3 run lead WAS ML was as high as -1600 once

3 run leads in baseball are nothing
