It was a response to Brock implying the Braves had nothing to play for.

I'm not betting the game but I love this comment you made. I don't like either side but I would never put hard earned money on Dan Haren as a favorite vs the Atlanta Braves. He is not the same pitcher he was a few years ago and the Braves bats could get to him. On the flip side, what's Atlanta got to play for? They've got everything all locked up.

yep, Atlanta +3 or +2.5 in the early innings was a nice bet because Minor was just getting into a rhythm in the first... walked 2 guys and unfortunately didn't get out of the inning just down 0-2.

after that, he got into a rhythm and had a bunch of 10-15 pitch innings.... Nats have 1 hit since the first inning

No, the Braves are 3-4 games AWAY from having everything locked up (clinching the division).

Beating the Nats today gets them closer.

The point is the Braves were the play.

Next game is a toss-up and Braves backers from game 1 should just avoid it.

Even though it is basically a toss-up, I would say the Nats would most likely win.
