Here is the bottom line kids. Steroids or whatever you want to call them are going to become accepted and used eventually. The only case against them is the health side effects. I'm not even sure if that is the truth. Global warming anyone. I don't assume anything from people with an agenda. Pete Rose should be in there and Shoeless Jo Jo. As far as tainting records, again who gives a Ho Lee Fuk. You can't really compare players from different eras. Just appreciate the past and enjoy the present.

Being a Brewski fan this worked out fine for us. Our season was over weeks ago, Braun's thumb needs rest and would bother him the rest of the season anyway, and he only gets 65 games which will not run into next season. Obviously his reputation is shot but at least we got a fighting chance next season. This is the best case scenario for the team as a whole. If he appeals and loses, which is what would have happened, he loses 2/3 of next season. I got no problem with today's result. We'll take our .290 singles hitter and move on...
