AND, if you think HE actually made that statement, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Selig's office undoubtedly told Braun, "if you want to drop any appeal process and put out a statement admitting guilt, we'll let you take the next 65 games as suspension and you won't have to do 100 game suspension".

Braun would have jumped at that deal twice on Sunday....he makes more money next year and they were going to suspend him 100 games anyway....you think he wants to sit out 1 game next year on an increased salary if he doesn't have to? This was a plea deal boys. Very clear.

exactly how does this penalize him? he already signed a multimillion contract that will has him and his kids setup for life and not like he has to give back his MVP award. Also worth mentioning Brewers already out of contention and whether he plays or not doesn't really make any difference.
