Actually the soccer players in the majors (EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga) don't give off that type of vibe; in fact, I think they, as a group, are just as, or possibly more, "into girls" than some of the sports here in the US.

Lebron couldn't make it in soccer at any position, he isn't a good enough athlete. He can make it in basketball because the competition is weak (it isn't the first choice sport for many athletes at all, and the height requirement knocks a lot of other athletes out of the running).

But LOL at people calling soccer gay. Compared to, what, the National f\*g League? First of all, the NFL is a socialist organization. Period. If you're into socialism, if you want the state to take care of you like a little baby, then, fine, you love the NFL. But don't pretend you're not a sissy.

Unlikely, even something apparently advantageous such as height hasn't guaranteed any success in the NBA, another would be speed, using a sprinter in the NFL. Takes a combination of variables to be a successful athlete.
