Forte had the opportunity to really shine early on as the Bears relied on him a lot. Really you could make arguments for McCoy, Peterson, Forte, Foster, Rice, and Sproles, with another 4-5 guys a step below that have the potential to be included in this elite group like Gore, Jones-Drew, Murray, etc. The dynamic of the team they play on makes a huge difference to raw numbers as some teams are much more pass heavy or have multiple high-level RBs to share the load. The quality of the offensive line is also a HUGE factor in how successful a team's interior running game will be.Comment -
