Jets coach trips player

I've heard that the Jets aren't taking any action, which I think sucks and shows an overall lack of respect. I hope the league does fine the guy at least. Didn't one of the Titan's assistant coaches get fined earlier this year for shooting a bird at the refs? How can that be worse than an assistant tripping an opposing player during a play?

Alosi's income was destined to be cut Sunday when he tripped a person in full view of TV cameras during a pro football game. A Miami Dolphins special teams person sprinting down the sideline was tripped by the New York Jets strength and conditioning coach. For his mistake, Sal Alosi's salary was significantly reduced by a hefty fine and a suspension that ended his season a few weeks early.
