Thoughts: The Oregon Ducks, I will say it again the Oregon Ducks are the new college football number one team according to the latest (AP) and USA Todaypolls. The last time a fresh team was ranked No. 1 was 20 years ago with Virginia. The BCS Poll was released late Sunday naming Oklahoma to the top spot, followed by Oregon, Boise, Auburn and TCU. As you know much of the BCS Poll is based on computer rankings. Oregon will have it tough trying to avoid being upset with games against UCLA, USC, Washington, Cal, and a tough Arizona squad…Everybody wants to knock off numero uno.
The steam or smart money had a winning college week…barely, going 8-5. The largest move of the week was Washington who opened at +2.5 getting the bet down to close at -1.5. Most of the Washington money collected, as they ending up beating Oregon State by one point.
THE UPSET SPECIAL was Ball State…they were bet up 1 ½ points from -13.5, then crossing the magic number of 14, to close at 15…They lost the game straight up in Over-time to Eastern Michigan who snapped an 18-game losing streak, which was the longest in the country. Eastern Michigan hasn’t had a winning season in over 15 years… That must be a tough recruiting sell for the coach.

For NFL Week #7 Here are our plays:
[424] San Diego Chargers -2.5 over the Patriots
(Take the BOLTS for $80 - 4 UNIT bet based on $20 units)
A 31-24 projection here on the Bolts to finally have a solid win over the Patriots. I love this play, and I love that I am seeing the Patriots as the game of the year for some "pros" out there. We'll see who nails this one! This week we'll be considering teams that have the ability to perform at a higher level than the rest. The Chargers are coming off of two upsetting games, and I think that is enough to figure out where you are going wrong. Week 6 the Chargers lose by three to the Rams in a battle of frustrations. That game was a bit hard to pick a side, but it was the pick Rams here based on what happened in their previous games.
Bottom line is this: the Chargers should by now have addressed their problems. Their problems have mostly been struggling against tough passing defenses, and coming out with the wrong mindset. The Bolts have shown us what they can do. They should come out and exploit the Patriots weak total defense. Look at the Patriots defense....TERRIBLE...good luck with your "game of the years."
This games is highly inflated in my opinion towards the Patriots whole robbed the Ravens of a win in over time with poor games stats. The Chargers get a little bonus on the line here having lost to the Rams who the general public still considers a bad team. Take the bolts for -2.5 +100 Take the win.
[490] Philadelphia Eagles +3 over the Tennessee Titans
(Take the EAGLES for $77 - 3.5 UNIT bet based on $20 units)
A 23-20 projected win for the Eagles here against the possibly worn down Tennessee Titans. This isn't a bet against the Titans so much as a situation where you have an slightly undervalued team that continues to display a cream of the crop type of performance. Each team won in the previous week, and if you ask me the Eagles win said a lot more about them as a team. The Eagles will come to the field with an idea that they going to need to play 110% to get anywhere. Taking down the Falcons isn't an easy task, and up next they have the Titans?! Philly will be focused here. The Titans on the other hand are in a nice comfortable spot after easily dismantling the Jaguars, and may show up at home taking the Eagle lightly. I don't think so. The Titans are in for a game here.
[422] Seattle Seahawks -6 over the Arizona Cardinals
(Take the SEAHAWKS for $66 - 3 UNIT bet based on $20 units)
A 26-17 win for the Seahawks here. The Hawks have made some BIG improvements and they are still sort of perceived as a not so hot team. The bottom line here is a nice powerful momentum for the Seahawks against the Cardinals who #1 aren't even very good and #2 like everyone else more than likely won't be expecting and explosive performance on Sunday. Take the Seahawks and their points.
[418] Carolina Panthers +3 over the SFO 49'ers

OMG the 49ers are in gear! No....they still are terrible, but I'm not trying to say that the Panthers are any better. What I will say is that Carolina is going to be much more motivated here. The Niners have drained themselves emotionally and physically. The Panthers are ready to take on a sleepy West Coast team on their own turf in the East Coast. Bad team as they are; it shouldn't take a lot for a rested team off a bye week on the east coast to host a bad team from the west coast. If the Niners do manage a win here maybe I'll take them more seriously. For now take the winless home dog (I know these are the plays you don't feel comfortable about until they win. Sorry).
