A view from vegas

In college football the Chalk killed the Sports Books last weekend. Jay Rood, director of MGM sports said that a lot of people hit some big tickets last Saturday on Parlay cards, picking mostly public favorites. They had one $100 ticket, with a 10-teams parlay, using all public favorites cash for a cool $70,000. I also heard about some 10-team - $15 dollar tickets cashing around town, but they only paid you back $10,500 for those.

The public loves to play OVERS on the totals, that's how the books make money. But you might want to give a second look to Unders in the early going. The Defensive side of the ball is way ahead of the offense. The scoring side of teams need time to get their timing down, which can't be done in practice or Pre-season. Most coaches are just trying to keep there first string healthy for the season. Who would expect New Orleans and Minnesota to only score 23 points last week. The same is true in college, during the first couple of weeks in the season.

Speaking of the Saints / Viking game, it was a big middle in town for the wise guys. The line opened at Saints -4, but went as high as Saints -6.5, which created a great middle with the missed extra point and a final 14-9 score.

Nice been waiting for your thread! Just saw you had cinni tonight and just locked it in. If this system is like baseball I'm sure it will be profitable. Do you recommend playing all the picks? Or use it as a base to select winners? An average bettor may not have or want to play 560 in one day. GL luck this season.

Highly coincidental. I play what the computer churns out.

For NCAA this number of play IS NOT atypical.

Thanks. I don't recommend cherry picking. Long term you are going to see profits here playing exactly as I do. Learn to manage your money accordingly. If you have questions; you can find the answers here.

About exact numbers....you mainly want to get key numbers if you can. Example: let's say I posted -13.5 and 3 days later you check this out and only have -14.5 or more. You either buy back the half point to -14 (KEY NUMBER) or you missed the boat. Hopefully you know what I mean by key numbers...

-The way I am looking at this is: Chicago was given a gift with the Detroit "victory" while Dallas would really like to smash someone after their close loss. This sort of emotional balance should tilt any scale.

(Take the VIKINGS -5.5 for $105 - 5 UNIT bet based on $20 units)
-Here you have one team with a slight victory over a weak opponent last round vs. a fired up team with a tough loss against the Super Bowl Champs....duh. 10 days rest for a probably uninteresting cross-conference game.

Green Bay Packers -13.5 against the Bills
(Take the PACKERS for $54 - 3 UNIT bet based on $20 units)
-This play actually gets ranked as the top pick BY FAR with several forecasting methods of mine. The problem is, and this goes for MLB as well, there are just so many factors here for the Packers, the pick could end up being a big upset so I toned it down a bit. On paper the Packers DEMOLISH the sorry Bills here, but let's not go wild. These sort of situations can be dangerous.

Thank you sportscap...dunno if you guys are referring to the late September MLB plays, but I'm really hoping that those stay solid. So many people just get skrewed bad in bases late season, but when you have a lot of games to work with...there is a lot of $$ to be made.

Friday night yielded about a unit in NCAA and the same with bases for about 1.5 net.
