All the jets did was talk trash all offseason. Then hard knocks and to have the new stadium that is so important to the jets since they always shared a stadium and to come out like that on Monday night is a joke.

These teams want to destroy the jets.

Everyone keeps on talking about the ravens d stopped the jets. The jets stopped the jets they didn't run many plays on offense. A high school team could of stopped that offense.

I just can't see the jets scoring more than 20 points in a game without special teams or defensive points. NE will score points in this game and force sanchez to have to make mistakes by throwing the ball.

yea i'm all over the pats for this game.. jets wont be able to score enough to keep up... and the jets CB's will continue to get penalties.

the offense cant possibly be as bad as it was against the ravens, who i think and probably most would think that the ravens D is much better than the pats D... the loss of jenkins didn't hurt them too much against a ravens team that likes to run...the pats are a passing team and hardly run so the loss of jenkins (a run stopper) might not be too significant for this particular game...

If the preseason is any indicator the Pats are looking to get it going with the run this year. They are still a big time passing team but they have made a lot of effort to create more balance this year. I think you'll see a bit of Fred Taylor in this one. They will tear up the secondary, but look to see the run just enough to keep the Jets D off balance.

You are correct JJ, but anyone with 2 eyes and half a brain would bet NE. With that said, it's still a 50/50 shot in any game, that's why they call it "Gambling". I just can't bet my money on a 1 legged horse named Sanchez!!!!!

i agree with this and whenever I see so much action in one thread for one team, it is usually a good indication to go the other way.

pats d needs to get 3 and outs. it was what killed them last season. showed improvement against cinnci, but i attribute a lot of that to ne jumping on them early and forcing cinnci to become 1 dimensional on offense. sanchez will get to throw down the field more with ne not being anywhere near ravens peer at pressuring qb. i could see cotchery getting a long td at some point in game.

brady will burn the jets blitz by exploiting the safeties who can't match up with hernandez' speed and gronkowski's size. revis had a safety rolling over to his side to help on moss and this season brady has other weapons to throw to(bye bye galloway).

got on ne early at -1 and it may be a "square" play, but based off belichick's history and jets lack of performance on offense and poor discipline, i'm very confident in this bet and looking forward to seeing ny media go into panic mode calling for sanchez to go to the bench and rex ate all the sugar so the kool-aid is flavorless.

I agree with this Rich, for sure. However I think the Jets mouths may have fired up the Patriots a bit which may lead to a few more plays for the Patriots.

Not so fast my friend, lol. Rich I just ran this at the database and find that since the realignment in 2002 div road favs are 141-117-8 and NE in this scenario are 13-4-1. The Jets on the other hand are 3-6 in the div as a HD so I wouldn't make any decisions based on that info....

I took the 3. The fact is the Jets lost by 1 point on Monday to Baltimore. Baltimore is probably the 2nd or 3rd best team in the AFC. The Jets made a ton of dumb plays. If they cut the dumb plays down at all they will have no problem staying in this game. The Pats offense is incredible but their D is nowhere close to Baltimore. The Jets should be able to muster a little offense this week The +3 is a gift imo

yes the jets made the playoffs but if teams would of played those last two games they wouldn't have ..... Even the coach thought they were eliminated from the playoffs when he did that press conference.


People are going to realize sunday night that they should of jumped on this -1.
