I'm starting to think the Oakland/Hou game is more about no A. Johnson than RLM.

I see Carolina and Chicago as the best RLMs this week. Anyone else with opinions or plays they are going with? Denver has too large a jump, and as previously mentioned, may have lost its value by now. Other games are close, but don't meet the 65% criteria at the moment I am looking right now. THoughts?

i'm only playing chicago. don't like the .5 pt moves off key numbers. denver still has a decent number at 3.5, but i really like sd in this spot.

Because Denver does satisfy all criteria, I will be keeping record of it. Not one of my most confident plays, and will put a very small one on it. But for the sake of the record, I will be on Denver +4

These picks exemplify why it is idiotic to chase "sharp" $$ after the value has been sucked out of it.
Sharps liked DEN +6, not +4. They liked NYJ +9.5, not +7.5.

he didnt say you fuxked up, all he is saying is that if you cant get the opening number then stay away because there is no value

Nothin' personal Totolover, just speakin' logic. At the end of the day we're all tryin to beat the books, but you're gna be fighting an uphill battle if you're chasing bad numbers all year. The main reason many sharps profit has just as much to do with grabbing the best numbers/price rather than the side they are on.

Numbers are sure important, we never considered RLM play on moneyline exactly for that reason.
All so called RLM plays yesterday came short by */-3 points, at least in my case

So there is a lot of to think about in what "bobbyk" has to say. I would say if public dogs start shaving points, take it at the time don't wait till game time as we usually do. We can always hedge it later, hopefully all we lose is a juice

not sure why you would bet the bears early rather than late, you must have known you would get a minimum of 6.5 at some point? i do like the bears but you should of waited. maybe it won't matter, it usually doesn't. bears lose by a late field goal, win su or get bombed in all likelihood. good luck!

yeah it seemed RLM was pretty successful last year. i dont remember off the top of my head but wasn't it a lot better later in the season than early? maybe thats why its not working out that well this year.

btw your 0-2 wasn't terrible capping, denver blows it with a failed 2 pt conversion and the jets blow it b/c they allow late garbage field goal. but what can u do.

Miami has had RLM in almost every game they have played. That team just kills me. 3 times they should have scored td's in the 1st quarter and only came away with 6 points and a 100 yd pick 6. They actually out gained NYJ in the game and still lost by a ton. I even had them teased up to 14pts and still lost!

This week I don't really see anything yet.

Yeah, what do you see/what do you like?

I'm eyeing Ga Tech, Vandy, Missouri, Indiana, Arizona, and USC... couple of those look like "RLM traps" to me, though.
