It's not the league.. It's greed trying to cap a donkey game... When was the last time you put a major wager on St. Louis and Cleveland in week 9 when they are both 1-8 ... The fact is there are 4 games a week, and the CFL is an action league.. you just have to adjust to the action... THe under in the first half was still for the taking and we didn't take it... We KNEW both QB's would eventually get back into the game... there were alot of factors in this game that I personally should have known better of...
This was a learning lesson .. I tried as hard as I could to stay away... then the steam factors among other things started to kick in and I went to town... as did we all... Looked way to good.. It was...Comment -

Wow gold.. that's a tough beat man... I know all about tough days from my poker playing as well...I used to play some extremely big games that have since dried up mostly.... thankfully.. I can't take the swings no more...
I had tossed over a dime on that BC game myself, right after I thought I'd save myself in the calgary 2nd half, down 26.. and getting +1... clicking... then having to take it at +0.5 ... Calgary loses by 27!
So I just tilted it on a game that you see in my write up, didn't mean ANYTHING to me... and in Fact.. It went EXACTLY how I thought it would.. Unpredictable, starters pulled... messed up first half.. .sloppy... Worse yet... after the way we lost, I endured one more viewing of the 4th quarter to see if I was dreaming ... Fn sadist! Nope it was real!
The theme though of the last few posts of Silk, and Gee and yourself is valid, taking a big fn break, or just being able to clear my head... I was going to put something good on the Jets actually... but I was SO steamed, I chose to avoid it.. Of course they come through.. But it's funny, I don't consider missing a game that I would have won, nearly as bad as Capping a game correctly, but having the outcome bad... In the end, I chose to not even watch any of the game, and watched reruns of M*A*S*H all night on the history channel... I only found out the score this morning.. I think I just added another 3 years to my life after how that game ended in reading the recap...
Anyhow.. We will all will reboot, and reload... Will come back strong... Was a tough week... lets just keep it at that...

Before we address the issue of the day, you should know the decision to release Casey Printers has the potential to cause a huge rift in the B.C. Lions' dressing room.
Yes, it's that serious, because when you talk to Lions players it seems they are divided into two camps — those who think Printers should have been released immediately after Monday's shocking loss to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and those who think he should have been released a month ago.
"I was lucky enough to play with Dave Dickenson here and I'd never dream of something like that happening with him," said Leos centre Angus Reid. "He was our leader. Leaders shoulder blame. Leaders shoulder problems. Leaders protect everyone else around them.
"[Public spats] happen to people but it should never happen to your top guy and when it does you've got to go, 'We can't have this guy as our top guy anymore.'"
Evidently that was not a minority opinion on the issue of Printers.
One Lion veteran was asked when the quarterback had lost the locker-room.

As far as the final playoff spot..
Both as a fan, and a capper of the Eskimos, it will be hard to convince me that BC will get there.. Some may say with Printers gone it will be better ... But with Lulay being Lulay... I am not convinced... I'm not sure how much stock you should invest in the Eskimos... But here's how I see this play out...
Eskimos have 4 games left, 2 vs Sask, 1 BC, and 1 Winnipeg... If they ONLY beat BC and Winnipeg... The likelihood that they make it is good... because then they have the Tiebreaker in Both...

Has every top team to play.. Sask, Cal, Mon, and Toronto... AND they have to have MORE wins then BC and/or Edmonton.. .

Edm, Calgary, Sask, Hamilton - All very losable games... But really, all they have to do is beat Edmonton, and most of their troubles go away being up 2 games with just 3 to play.. .Winnipeg would then have to win out, and BC would have to lose out...
For top Spot in the West...
This game is the big game of separation and tie breaking... Calgary beats Sask, they are 2 games up with BC and Hamilton IN Calgary the next 2 weeks... Pretty much only a complete melt down will cost them 1st if they win this week...
However... If the RIDERS win this week... they are Tied, WITH the head to head tiebreaker... And play Edmonton Twice... If the Esks lose this week in BC, Sask Rolls in those games with Edmonton not having much to play for... But then again... Esks have played Sask tough over the year...
Interesting to see Toronto Chasing Second...
If they beat Hamilton at home, they have Winnipeg next week.. although they already DON'T have the tie-breaker... Hamilton though, will be in tough if they lose as they are Hosting Montreal next week, and IN Calgary the week after... If they win they will likely hang on to second... if they lose... Let me also add...that If BC makes it... the top teams will proceed as normal... BC will NOT make any impact with Lulay in the playoff race...
HOWEVER... if Winnipeg OR Edmonton can snatch that spot... That means they have either won 2/3 of their last 4 under very pressure filled circumstances... IF either of them make it... Then EITHER of them would go to Saskatchewan (likely) and have played Sask very tough this year along with gaining momentum in the final 4 weeks... LOOK OUT... There COULD be some sort of upsets in the making...
All in all though... a Calgary / Sask West Final is still heavy favorite at 1:2 ...Comment -

I am in the Camp, as noted through week 6, that Toronto is much better team than Advertised... It's only now that people are starting to see it. Defensively this team is solid, Offensively though is where they get most of their attention focussed on... Last week you saw what the Argo's are capable of.. Walking into Mosaic field and really, blowing out the Riders who to that point were perfect on the year. that wasn't a fluke, that was the offense starting to play to their potential. Now they are at home, where they are 4-3 on the year (4-2 if you count Moncton), and playing Hamilton for 2nd place in the East...
The big thing here is that Toronto DOESN'T have the tiebreaker, losing to Hamilton twice already... so they MUST win this game to get 2nd and then next week in Winnipeg, then a home and home with Montreal to end the season... But losing today ensures them third place.
Hamilton has been playing decent, but lets really break down the last 5 games... They are 2-3, and the only wins they have are against a BC team that by rights should have Beaten them at home but for the Beginning of the end of Casey Printers and the 5 fumbles... And last week Vs Edmonton... A team that beat them the week before, and Really, the game was 20-11 going into the 4th Quarter... despite the 36-11 final...
I'm saying the line is purely WRONG... The only thing that works FOR Hamilton is that they've beaten Toronto twice... but even still, Toronto was still going through mid season growing pains... the game they lost in week 10, Lemon had 350 Yards passing, but THREE INTs... In week 8 Toronto had the game all but won up 12-3 in the 4th... But Hamilton found a way to come back in the end...
What I'm saying is that Toronto is the most underrated team in the CFL and I believe in 2-3 weeks people will be reminded of this... As will the Bookmakers...
Until then... We take advantage of knowing what is already known.. .
Toronto is going to win this football game... and in Style... But I'm not weighing in heavy on the low number, as Toronto has burned me quite a bit in totals this year... But I think 35-14 as a minimum isn't unreasonable...

Early Steam has taken the Hamilton -4.5 and moved it to 6... Almost looks like someone wants to middle the 5&6 the way it's moved... I'd love to get it to +6.5 if I can...
