Hey BB... any early leans? as i said i alreay placed a 1unit bet on Argos -2.5... i thought it was great value... i'm not sure about Als -11 ... i'll wait for your input

Winnipeg @ Montreal -11 - O/U 56.5

Montreal is definitely in some disarray.. Is this the week they make it right, and take out out on the Bombers?

I want to know if Winnipeg is starting Gyles of course, but after last week, it really looks like They are just not that good in General... 11 is a much adjusted number by the books... This will be a tough 2 games in week 8... Regardless it's hard giving 11 in this game... Winnipeg down 34-17 late in the fourth, and they score in garbage time... ugh!

Hamilton @ Toronto -2.5 - O/U 54

After A. Bruce the 3rd has over 500 yards and 4 TD's in his last 4 games... TO's Defense is all the hype is cracked up over... I think the number is worth while staying away from... If I bet this, particularly for Hamilton, I would be FORCED to buy a half point, no question... I wouldn't want to bet Hamilton for 2.5 unless I bet ML here...

With that said, I think my early thoughts are with the Argo D at Home... With that said, this has all the makings of a let down possibly... Lots of Drama for Hamilton, being on the road could help their focus...

Betting Toronto is decent value there.. .But if I'm betting Hamilton, I wouldn't bet it without the half point...

Only thing I'm worried about is that this has the makings of a let down game for Toronto...

Win QB Gyles is starting, and I think this will give the Bombers the best chance to make this game close... Will it be close is anyones guess, but by the looks of the line, Montreal's motives are clearly bounce back from 3 BAD halves of football going back to the Sask 2nd half at home...

Mon QB Calvillo still looks not perfect, but made some great throws last game to Keep Montreal in the hunt, and ONLY threw for 450 yards... Looking up some stats on A.C, I found this vs Winnipeg..

"In his last 16 games against Winnipeg Calvillo has thrown for 27 TDs, been over 300 yards passing seven times and has a 11-5 record in those contests."

Mon RB Avon Cobourne is OUT... This isn't good, but with that Monstrosity of an O Line in Montreal, I, Betterbizness could probably get 5 yards per carry if i was playing behind them...

Another find...

The Bombers are an awful first-quarter squad, having been outscored in six of their seven games.

I think just this stat alone may entice me to bet the Mon -6.5 for the first half...

I'm trying to find reasons to like anything about the Bombers... And there are a few that could mess this -11 up.. One is that they have only been blown out once this year in 7 tries...

Another is, Aside from playing Hamilton where they are 1-3, they are 1-2, beating up Edmonton, and losing by 2 to Toronto, and 3 to Calgary... This team tends NOT to get blown up alot...

Another quote from Cavillo's Mouth,

"We haven't had a dominant performance ... and haven't played completely as a team except for one game (at home, against Toronto)," he said. "We don't understand what we're capable of."

Is this that tipping point that Montreal is going to turn the Bombers Season into a Memory, or is THIS that game where they just continue to play "ok" and allow Winnipeg to hang around...

Win QB Gyles last week was 14 of 22 coming in Relief for Pierce for 227 yards and 2 TDs, 24 of 35, the Week before vs Ham) for 349, and 2 TDs, and 17 of 30 IN Calgary the week before with for 227 yards and 1 TD...

55 for 87 (63%), 803 Yards, and 5 TD's to ZERO Int's the last 3 games... My opinion is the Kid's getting better... I just don't know if THIS is that game where it may not matter how well the learning curve is going, Montreal is BEGGING to show what they are capable of...

At the end of this, I'm putting 2 Units on Montreal First Half -6.5, but I am staying away from the -11 based on the closing capabilities of the Bombers... Montreal Really tends to start Fast, which fits well with the Bombers Bad starts... But this has the makings of a 17 point lead late in the fourth that may get ruined from some garbage time and a QB that never gives up...I feel much more confident in the first half than I do the entire game...

Im goin with a small play on Argo's ML tonight (Friday). You guys are right it could be a big letdown game. But after taking out Montreal last week Toronto's gotta be pumped up. And Hamilton comin in with a 2 game winstreak, It'll be a good one to watch thats for sure.

Although it looks like Toronto has played their last 2 Over 54, and the Ti-Cats have played their last 2 of 3 under... These are BOTH very under like teams... I think a return to Under form is my initial offering at the moment with a BIG number, combining with Toronto's VERY good Defense and whats becoming a banged up Offense with Star WR Copeland out ... Alot of RB Boyd, one ofthe premier runningbacks in the league will be in order to eat some clock, get some yards, and keep the scoring under control...

As mentioned, its clear Toronto has tonnes of momentum, but this is a perfect spot for a let down game, because they are, in fact, Toronto.... They haven't been in this position for 3 years, and I'm not yet sure if they know what it is they are doing? Have they found themselves after 2 big games in Edmonton, and vs Montreal? The trap here is clearly taking the 2.5 which seems very gimme'ish...

If I was betting Hamilton, I would love to have that half point, but most places don't offer it. Hamilton's QB Glenn continues to be the most proficient passer in the league right there with Montreal QB Calvillo, he has thrown for 3 TD's in EACH of the last 3 games... 4 of them to WR A. Bruce III... Clearly Toronto has to stop this threat if they are going to make things happen... Then again, Hamilton had SIX receivers last game that had 2+ Catches, so clearly they are also recognizing how to react to teams tightening up on Bruce..

Some Stats of Note:

18 passing plays of 30-plus yards for the Ticats this season, best in the CFL. Arland Bruce has six of those plays.

21 field goals allowed by the Tiger-Cats, by far the worst in the league. The next closest team has 15.

I think life without Copeland will overpower this game... It's Hamilton's turn to want to talk "contender" I think this is their chance... Toronto at Home at Skydome really means little in Advantage, and Hamiltons biggest motivation at the moment, is Being AWAY from home with all the talk of Moving... I think the trap is set at 2.5, but I believe the Ti-Cats entice alot of value, particularly if you can buy the half point..

As it Stands, 1 Unit Hamilton +2.5... 1 Unit Under 54 ... No Parlay this time...

just read the local paper lions are starting 2 new O linemen this week, new left tackle and new right tackle. Also Casey Printers will start but he will be wearing a brace on his right leg. I want to pick my BC Lions to get thier 1st home win. But no way my brain will let my heart pick BC.. until the lions and esks can prove they can win games go with Calgary -5 and Sask -7..

Seeing Stamps move up to 6... It has trap written all over it, but I can't see ANY reason to take the Lions early... The movement between 5 and 6 still seems like a gift...

Edmonton at Home +7... Another Homer Call from me you should likely fade... Hard to see Esks doing much here, but Looks like Ray is practicing anyhow... the 2 weeks helped...

I'm trying to find a report on Edm WR Fred Stamps, but just can't see any reliable news yet...

They are saying 45,000 already for this game.. what that means, translated, is that since We Avg 30,000 this year, and Because Saskatchewan is just a few hours away, that at LEAST 20,000, or nearly HALF the stadium will make it feel like it will be a Green Rider HOME game...

-7 may very well be another gift... If you're on it, get it before it goes to 7.5 because it almost surely will...
