I was afraid of the over actually, thinking it could be as high as 35-14... But Stamps are the Cats azz right now and the team to beat in the CFL hands down... I am going to tonights game and it's great conditions in the morning for an over... Let's get it!!!

Todays Game is Hugely Important for future reasons:
Calgary is lights out right now Defensively... Pending how well the Eskimos show up with backup Boise St QB Zebransky vs a Sask Defense... This will be our best predictor for what the big number will be next week...

If "Z" holds his own tonight, it will affect the number to say -10 for the Stamps... If He doesn't play well, even with a return by Ray, the Momentum # could be as high as 13 or 14...

I know this is alot of over thinking about things we can't change... But it's worth preparing for...

First thing to note in this game.. Edmonton is my kryptonite... If you are smart you fade me here when I find reasons to bet Edmonton...

But one HUGE thing I notice right off the bat... is WTF!!??? Heavy Betting on EDMONTON brings this line DOWN from the toughest number in football.. 7! Sask by 6???? Lots of money had to have gone to the Eskimos to make that happen... But who could have drove it that far down???

We know the Esks are completely beaten up in moral right now, and, oh, by the way, they are possibly staring Boise St Star QB Zebransky who got alot of Reps this week in practice... Probably not, but regardless... Whoever starts, will have their work cut out for them... Personally, I wouldn't mind giving the kid the shot... He's a very, very good running QB that is the future of the franchise...

But the One thing I really love the more I stare at it... is the Under... As of my last trip to my backyard minutes from the Stadium, it's really, really windy... Esks can't move the Ball, and Esks D needs an impressive game to keep Richie Hall his job, because I guarentee you he's not going to stay much longer if they get blown out again and again... 57 is a BIG BIG number in the CFL and I'm definitely inclined to think that the pace of this game will favor ball movement, emulating a similar result as the first time they played.. 28-24 kind of game... or even a 35-21 type of game... RB Whitlock is still one of the best runningbacks in the league, and it again... 8 TD's is a long way to go I think...

Also, when pumping the numbers from last week into this week.. Sask was O54 5 of 6 times.. Change the Number to 57, and they are now U57 4 times... Says that 57 Is a tough number to get, it's the sweet spot of CFL totals... Just giving more fuel to the play...

Ultimately, 0.2 units purely as a homer on the Esks ML and parlay it with the Under (fade ML)...

But as conditions right now are getting windier, making the under very, very appealing..

Seems all the spreads are being covered quite easily the last couple weeks. What gives?
I gotta go with Sask(-6) and I'm liking the Under as well, probably not in a parlay as I've been burnt WAY too many times by parlaying.

guys i was already on sask -7 so i have to add another unit play on sask at -6 and BB i'm going to make a play on the under... i'm not really a totals guy but your right 57 is a sweet spot, ave score in cfl this year has been 52.5

Tension.. Without a Doubt.. I'm SHOCKED the line went the other way..

If the Eskimos win.. even come within 10 it will be shocking... I can't figure it out... It's the bookies line to get crushed.. Anything else is a win in spite of themselves... At least that's my opinion... I don't know where you can take a 5-2 team and put them up against a 1-6 team and not give them more than a TD... I know it's the CFL but comon...

I'm also saying to add to the field position game the temp is 12 degrees Celcious (55-60 deg F), and the wind is at 33 km (15 mph) with gusts up to 48km/h (30mph) ... Usually those games involve more strategy and field position... Now you're getting the HIGH end of the strategic side of a game like this... Let's hope...

I"m not going to sit here and say I covered myself by being a homer... I truly didn't expect the Esks to come through... Obviously someone out there found some sort of value in the ML, along with the +6... But up 14-0 and Sask NEVER scores ANOTHER point? I really can't explain it, nor even as a fan, can understand it... Hence why I put all my weight in the under, not in the cover...

Congrats on all the under backers tonight... The conditions seemed ripe, and they really were, particularly from the stands... Dreadfully rainy, and windy... 57 was a gift...

I know some people make picks for fun, bet SBR points and such... And there's nothing wrong with that.. But just so you know I bet my own picks... The only reason I couldn't bet the 3x I said I wanted to was because I have a weak Book (Intertops) that only let me bet 2.75 Units, and need to switch to a real one (Pinny)

yeah i got killed on sask loss...this is 2nd week in a row i have lost in 4th Quarter with turnovers, last week TO vs Ham, and this week Sask just choked big time.. breaking even is boring need to make a run.
