Wow. After 1 bad week, after years of consistently hitting 90% ATS, you say you're never betting spreads again? I smell a whole lot of bull. It was a winning week so I certainly didn't set myself back... I'm going to lay off of tomorrow and just pack in the winning week, no need to force something if I don't feel strongly enough about it. I need to see Miami face one more above average passing team before I make a judgment about their secondary. Miami -1 was my lean for all curious, good luck to anyone who bets tomorrow night and we'll try to make it two winning weeks in a row next week!

If you ever bet on a dog, you would know spreads HELP you with stupid sh%t that may happen... but since u dont you may want to stick with moneylines.. Large spreads against highly overrated teams is where the money is. (panthers +14 vs saints was pretty easy imo). Your goal is to beat vegas, not the packers not the bears.. vegas.. you cant play vegas betting ML's, anything can happen in the NFL. You have to keep ur mind open and bet on solid plays.. betting on the top 4 favorites that you think will cover wont get you anywhere..

1. I'm never betting ATS (or Totals) again.
2. At least I hit my 3 Team ML Parlay (barely with GB, NO, and ATL)
3. For those rookies out there, don't waste your time betting ATS and Totals. You'll lose money.
MLs is your best bet to make money in the NFL. I've learned my lesson.
4. I'll still beat Kroy in this contest and in fact will be leading at the end of even this week as bad as its been.

Almost as good as Crazylou's tennis stuff back in the days. So there is still hope. If this betting thing doesn't work out. Just ask Lou.

If you play a lot of parlays then no because if you make it a habit you can't win in the long run. If it was just for fun then go ahead and buy back your original bet and your free rollin. I personally never hedge anything unless its some crazy pay out like 20 to 1 or something. GL

The saddest part about SSK's posts is that there are dozens of people out there who are actually listening to his advice. Luckily, I've been around sports betting long enough (and losing enough) to know when someone is BSing. But unfortunately, there are plenty of people actively employing the advice that this guy gives.

I know there have already been dozens of posts like mine about this guy, but it really can't be understated how wrong this guy is on so many levels. It even prompted me to make my first post. Lurkers need to be given fair warning.

I will be making a new thread soon on SBR (Tomorrow). It will only deal with MLs, my forté. This is the only way to make consistent money in the NFL over the long-run. Because now the goal of each team you bet on and yours is the same, play to win. So now your analysis will directly translate into winning and none of that 'team goes easy on defense because they have a big lead' BS. The team you pick has the same goals as you. Winning.

Expectations? Well if you tail me play for play, you will at least double your bank-roll by the end of the season. But that's a minimum. Triple quadruple is more likely.

And yes Kroy I am still going to beat you in this contest we have. So no need to get too happy like I'm quitting. It's hard to win ATS over the long-run, but in the short-run I can make some good runs that will give me the 300 points at the end of the season.

Well said Too many players go with their hearts and not with their heads. When a team drops off in performance it takes a long time for the emotional players to catch on. Sometimes several years. They keep believing the great team of 3-4 years ago still exists, when it no longer does.

What you have to remember is he is talking ML and if you look at some of his plays -8 -7 favs so if he is laying -300 maybe 70% isn't that unrealistic - showing a profit may just be another issue

I typically don't hedge, I wouldn't for only a two team parlay I suppose. Depends how much it would hurt to lose that $215. If you wanna be safe hedge it for just that, then either ya break even or end up $400ish

We're doing awful, I'm 3-6 at the moment with Miami pending, SSK is 2-8, hopefully we'll turn it around. As for SP, he apparently has left the forum.
