Wow I'm receiving negative comments on my actions?

You guys realize my last trip (5-6 posts) on this thread was SOLELY to defend MYSELF? Yeah, I didn't even post in this thread on Monday, and someone out of nowhere starts attacking me, telling me how bad I did this week. I just came here to defend myself. How did I do anything wrong? Someone attacks MY record, I think I should be able to defend myself there.

Besides for that, me and Kroy are in a contest, so a weekly update on the contest is also relevant to Kroy and thus this thread.

So all in all, I'm not doing anything wrong, you guys got the wrong guy.

Thanks all! Looking forward to the upcoming weekend! My mistake last weekend was simple, I read far too much into stats when really Week 3 is still an "overreaction week". Very stupid mistake on my part but I'll learn from it next year. Week 2 I went much more by feel and the results were much better, should've done the same last weekend but oh well. Week 4 is finally a week where I think stats begin to be relevant, and those of you who read my stuff last year know stats are a big part of how I cap games. We're starting to get into the heart of the season though, gotta love football season!

Don't sweat it Kroy. This year has been almost polar opposite of last season. In the first few weeks of last year it was a lot more evident who was good and who was not and both the public and the sharps cashed big. This year most people have had difficulty navigating the new season. I'm in the same boat and use stats quite a bit with finding that edge and usually by week 5 the eyeball test begins to merge with the numbers. Better weeks are ahead.

I just can't wait till this week is over. It usually takes me 4 weeks to properly analyze all the NFL teams this year. After that, I usually take off. I think I got a good idea already though through 3 weeks. But either way, I can only get better. You too though, since you said you get better ideas through stats and they become more relevant as season goes on. So BOL.

Btw, I have a lock this week Kroy. Bad news for you. I hit 90% on locks. Granted I'm 0-1 so far this year, but that just tells you I have already missed the one I was supposed to miss. And last time I got 2 LOCK losses in a year was 2007 where I went 10-2 on LOCKs.

You'll know which pick it is. It's my "Best Pick of the Week" in our contest.
