Just a hunch here. CSN would prefer an up-tempo style. They shot very poorly vs. USC and allowed 66 to a team that seems offensively challenged. Hawaii has some talent, Zane Johnson being the best. If CSN makes more shots and gets the tempo up a bit, should be a chance here.Comment -

Charleston has to dictate tempo for this to have a chance, but after seeing how Morehead flopped in their opener against NC State - I think points are on tap here. Morehead is less experienced that recent years, so hopefully their youth will adjust to the tempo and not grind it down.Comment -

Both teams have gotten to the FT line a ton already through just a few games and I am expecting to see a charity stripe parade to help the cause here. SD State is playing its 4th game in five days, so fatigue could lead to some sloppy play potentially which often leads to more fouling as well. The Aztecs had issues shutting down the three point line against UC-Davis and Baylor has some talented shooters who can exploit that as well. Should find out a lot about SD State's players today as they play with a pretty short bench.Comment -

FYI for anyone who cares: For the 2nd half bets, I do look over a points per possession formula. It's basically FGAs - Offensive Rebounds + Turnovers + FTAs(*0.45). That lets you estimate the number of possessions for the 1st half. From there, I look at how many points were scored per possession, game flow, three point attempts and fouls and then look at the line for the second half. In the end, it's still good luck or bad luck, but this formula has helped me the past couple of years to weed out the better 2nd half plays.Comment -
