Nice, now we can't hit the broad side of a barn from five feet away. This is about par for the course from the last couple picks.

Well at least Mizzou covered. Cannot believe this Marquette-Louisville 2nd half. Frickin brick show and the pace slowed a little too much. Fart.

Had this one marked before the tournament started, so sticking to it.

This one looks destined to be another loser. If I did some quick calculations right, there have been 23 possessions in 6 minutes of the 2nd half - there were I think 55 total in the 1st half. Just not working out very well here tonight.

That game got buried in the 1st 10 minutes. I quit tracking it at the 10:00 mark. No point worrying about it. Usually a 5 minute stretch somewhere in a 2nd half that makes or breaks it. That one was broken in the 1st 5 minutes.

Adding this one.
PAC-12 Conference Tournament: Oregon-Colorado Over 140 [-110] Even though Colorado doesn't necessarily push the pace, I think if the Ducks want to keep the pace a little quicker - the Buffs may be good with that after last night's grinder against Utah. Both regular season meetings hit over this number. The possessions per game in each were over this number, so it comes down to efficiency on offense. Ducks have been shooting lights out in their last five [50%] and Colorado struggled to stop efficient offenses in conference play routinely. Oregon has scored 70 or more in ten of their last eleven. The Ducks have given up 70 ppg over their last five on 47% shooting, so Colorado may find some more success.

Well the last two days have been a beating pretty much once the clock hits 5pm. Going to really buckle down today. Starting my research early. Two full games are my MAX today and through the weekend. Though about bailing on the 2nd halves late in the day if early success was there again ... but that defeats the purpose of making those plays and getting the sample size large enough to feel comfortable with it for next season. So, I am amped already this morning for today and feel free.
ACC Tournament: Maryland-North Carolina Over 152 [-110] Both regular season meetings has the required number of possessions in the 150s and finished at or above this number in spite of both teams not shooting particularly well in the match-ups. I liked the offense from the Terps yesterday and expect the Heels to push the tempo as they like to do. Free throws should loom large if the regular season meetings where any indication. Key number for me is UNC finishing with at least 80. That is a must.

Well maybe we go oppo today. Start slow, finish fast? St.Joe's total was killed in the first 5 minutes when no one missed a damn shot. Both teams shooting some ridiculous 2nd half percentages

MEAC Tournament:Hampton -2 [-105]
Don't look now, but the Pirates are weaving some more postseason magic. Hampton KO'ed the top seed, Savannah State, yesterday to advance to the semis. Hampton's coach has been preaching to his team that they were built to win this tournament after a lackluster 6-10 conference season. They get Bethune-Cookman who beat them by 10 just about ten days ago on their home court. BC nearly blew a double digit lead to NC Central yesterday before pulling out a one point win. Hampton wins with defense. They allow under 40% from the field and shoot about the same, so you can see where they get wins when they get them. Bethune Cookman shot 54% in the regular season meeting, so expect Hampton to make defense again their focal point. Hampton won the tournament last year albeit with a much more talented group, but there are several holdovers with experience from that run + a motivated Darrion Pellum who missed last year's tourney run due to injury. I smell magic.

Figures 9 pts in the last minute in this SWAC shit. Think I said it yesterday there's usually a five minute stretch that makes or breaks these 2nd half bets ... this one was from 6:00-1:00. 2nd halves have been pretty lame the last few days.

I think there were up 27-23 and since have been outscored something ridiculous like 32-11. Weird box score if you look at it, both teams shooting very well but BC has seven more made FGs although the possessions are about even.
