Wear stepped his game up in both meetings vs. USC this season with 19/8 and 14/11 in the most recent meeting. He's had double-doubles in three of his last six games. He was a consistent performer in league play for the Bruins for the most part. He tallied double digit points in 11 of the last 16 conference games for UCLA and had at least seven rebounds in 10 of his last 15 games and at least five in nine of the last ten.

Brown sure isn't a prolific scorer, but seven points? He scored 30 once against Tech and 10 in the other match-up. He's scored at least seven in 16 straight games. He's only failed to score seven in six games.

I guess I am an all-day sucker in this one. A&M is just started to get fully healthy with the returns of Middleton and Harris over the past few weeks. This Aggies team is more talented than their record reflects as Middleton & Loueau will be a challenge for KU in the post. Middleton in particular was a load in the last meeting with 23, while Loubeau had a bigger game in Middleton's absence when A&M lost by 10 in Lawrence in January. A&M stayed well within today's number in both meetings and led the Jayhawks at the half in Lawrence. A&M did a good job of frustrating Thomas Robinson in both games, holding him to 7 of 20 from the field. He only hurt them from the line in the last game. If they can hold him down similarly coupled with KU often starting a little sluggish in this tourney, I think A&M stays within the number.

Mountain West Conference Tournament: TCU +4 [-110]/ML +165
Yes, gotta go on my Alma Mater today against Colorado State. TCU beat them at home by four and went to double OT before losing by six on the road. Colorado State lost a starter to a practice injury this week in Greg Smith which will hurt them some, but he's not a big scorer. TCU needs to play better defense to have a shot in this one, that has been their biggest problem - but they have been winning in spite of that. One unit on the spread, half a unit on the money line. Let's Go Frogs!

Mizzou against a depleted Oklahoma State team that they whipped by 18 last time. The Okie State win is well in the rear view and the Cowboys don't have some of the key cogs from that one due to injury. If fouls mount here or Okie State uses their new found zone, they are inviting Mizzou to light them up.
