Illinois-Ohio State Over 130 [-110]
The Illini have had issues stopping opponents on the road, allowing 70 ppg on 46% shooting. That's not a good recipe against an efficient and angry Ohio State squad that puts up 77 ppg on 49% shooting. The Buckeyes will be looking to make amends for losing to Illinois on the road and come in off the loss to Michigan. OSU's home D has been very tight, allowing just 54 ppg. Illinois averages close to 64 on the road, so if they split the difference and get in the high 50s near 60, this should be in good shape. Illinois's road games have hit OVERs in eight of 12, including five of seven in Big 10 play.

Kentucky-Mississippi State Total Three Point Shots Made Over 11.5 [-120]
The Wildcats average 5.7 makes per game on 15 shots, while the Bulldogs average seven makes on 19 attempts. Kentucky isn't the old school free wheeling outside shooting club any more, but they have several capable shooters with Lamb and Miller being the main culprits. Both guys are capable of making 3-4 any time. Wiltjer is also one to watch. MSU will see Bost and Hood take the majority of the threes, but even their big boy inside - Moultrie - can step back and shoot from deep. Jalen Steele might be the wildcard here. When he gets in and nails 3 balls early, the team can make a bunch. With Kentucky's great interior defense, Mississipp State may take a few more threes tonight. Both teams are shooting decent from beyond the arc lately, UK hitting 40% and MSU around 37%. That's a percentage point or two above their regular season numbers.Comment -

Spartans are 9-1 ATS in this series with Minnesota. They have covered seven of their last eight, including road wins at Purdue and Ohio State. They are also 5-1 ATS with spreads set between five and seven points this season and 7-3 ATS in their last ten on the road. Minnesota is 6-6-1 ATS at home. State won the home meeting by 16 with their usual tough defense, aggressive rebounding and efficient offense. Look for that same recipe to carry them to a late cover.Comment -

East Carolina-Memphis Under 137 [-110]
Unders for Memphis in C-USA play have been hitting regularly with five of six cashing. Their home defense is the key as the Tigers allow just 36% shooting and a shade under 60 ppg. East Carolina struggles shooting in the 1st place @ 43% and only scored 59 against Memphis at home in the 1st meeting. Memphis averages 74 ppg at home, but struggled mightily against UTEP with just 58 in a surprising loss. ECU's D isn't likely to shut them down as they allow 71 ppg on the road on 47% shooting. If the Memphis defense stifles them again though for a total in the 50s, it should be okay even if Memphis hits that home average. Under has also hit the last five times these two teams have hooked up, all under tonight's number.Comment -

South Dakota PK [-110]
The Coyotes are home to IUPU-Ft.Wayne who are just 2-12 on the road this season and winless on the road in conference play. SD is 6-6 at home with wins in two of their last three in conference play. The two teams are pretty even in most statistical categories, but South Dakota gets the boost at home with their FG% at 46%, two points above their overall numbers whereas IUPU-FTW struggles on the road @ 40%, six points below their season average. IUPU-FTW's Frank Gaines is an explosive scorer, but the Mastadons are very dependent on Gaines and Trey McCorkle, their only two double digit scorers. SD plays a guard-heavy lineup and has four guys in double digits with some solid shooters.Comment -

BYU-Gonzaga Under 147 [-110]
Bulldogs have hit UNDERs in ten of 13 at home, while BYU has hit UNDERs in 10 of 14 on the road. Gonzaga usually sets the tone with their D at home, allowing just 40% shooting and 61 ppg. BYU on the road is much the same, they allow a few more points because of their tempo @ 68, but on just 42% shooting. Gonzaga is a large UNDERs team overall with 18 of 26 posted totals going UNDER. Eight of their last ten overall have gone UNDERs. I'd look for Gonzaga to try and keep the tempo a bit more under control they we saw in the 1st meeting in Provo where BYU won 83-73. In seven WCC conference home games, they haven't allowed more than 63 ppg. Big challenge tonight, but they held down St.Mary's so BYU may find points tough to come by.Comment
