This is going to be a grind @ Virginia. The Cavs are struggling some now with three losses in their last four, but all were on the road. They are 12-1 at home this season, 4-5 ATS. The Terps are 4-5 ATS on the road, but are hot having covered five of their last six overall including a pair of ACC road tilts. This looks fairly even with Virginia being a better offensive club at home [47% shooting], the Terps will need to amp up their defense and find some scoring. Teams that have given UVA a scare at home have done it two ways, either clamp down and keep the Cavs in the 50s or 40s or find a way to get into the low 60s yourself. Let's see if the Terps can follow that plan.Comment -

Starting out horribly. Maryland got absolutely killed in the 2nd half after playing even to the half. Memphis bones the under with a late three and the jagoffs still got upset. Hopefully the Butler 2nd half can start the turnaround. Akron ML looked bad too. They cut into the lead, but let it slip away at the half. Down 11.Comment -

St.Mary's-Murray State Total Three Pointers Made Over 12.5 [-120]
Both clubs have the shooters to get this done easily if they get hot. Murray State ranks 8th in D1 in 3 point shooting percentage at a shade over 41%. They average 7.5 makes and 18 attempts per game. St.Mary's averages 7.4 makes per game on about 21 attempts for 35%. The Gaels have struggled to shut down shooters lately, allowing 40% from deep over their last five. Look for Canaan, Poole and Long to all get their looks for Murray State. St.Mary's has plenty of options from deep including their versatile forwards, Jones & Steindl. Dellevadova is an underrated threat. If the tempo is solid here, this could turn into a shootout and plenty of threes attempted to aid this.Comment -

BYU-Santa Clara Over 154 [-110]
They couldn't stop each other @ BYU with 173 points in a 95-78 win. BYU and San Francisco played a similar game last time out for the Cougars who won 85-84. BYU has scored 79+ in four straight and Santa Clara is giving up 52% shooting in their last five. They have given up 80+ in six of their last ten and 90 or more in three of those. BYU likes the track meet speed and I think Santa Clara will oblige again. Key number here for me is Santa Clara hitting around their home average of 71. If they get that, I think BYU can do the rest.Comment -
