Ivy League Friday. Usually a good night to take a money line dog in the right spot. I think Yale is that one for tonight. Better team up against Cornell. Only tough thing to gauge here is how Yale will respond on the road with just one conference road game so far, beating Brown. Cornell is 2-1 in league play at home, beating Princeton & Columbia - losing to Penn. I think Yale post player Greg Mangano is the potential difference maker here. Cornell can't match his size, but he does need help from his teammates so that he's not the only scoring option. I think this match-up is pretty even overall, slight edge on the boards to Yale because of Mangano, but everything else looks about even.Comment -

Arkansas draws South Carolina at home here. The Gamecocks have had troubles scoring on the road, shooting just 38% from the floor and scoring just 59 ppg. They have covered three of five on the road in SEC play, but head in having lost eight of nine with six by double digits. The Razborbacks are 5-3-1 ATS at home and have covered three of four in SEC play. They have lost three of four, but all three were on the road. Home should be a good cure-all for this club. I think this is going to be an absolute grinder with Harvard tonight, so getting the points here is a solid shot for Princeton at home. Harvard will be tough [9-3 ATS] on the road, but the Crimson haven't won @ Princeton in 22 years no matter the situation and that is a lot to overcome. For a team like Princeton that is likely not going anywhere in the postseason, it becomes a Super Bowl-ish atmosphere in a spot like this. Both teams are going to play stout defense and Harvard does have an edge offensively with better production, but Princeton has a solid duo in Hummer & Douglas. Both will need big nights, but I think if Princeton can find their 3 pt. stroke early and get production early on offense - this game will be close and they will challenge for the outright win.Comment -

St.John's-Georgetown Total Three Point Shots Made Over 9.5 [-120]
I realize St.John's is not an overly adept three point shooting team. The Red Storm average just four makes per game, but they do have D'Angelo Harrison is capable of filling it up at any time. He's leading the club with 56 made threes and he's made at least three from deep in five of the last six overall. As a team, they were 0-10 against Georgetown this first time, but have shot much better since then at around 40% over their last five. The Hoyas again aren't going to hoist up a mega-volume of threes, but between Clark, Thompson and Starks - they have three streaky shooters who can fill it up. They made seven against the Red Storm the first time with Thompson hitting five. With that many streaky shooters involved, I'm taking a stab that they can find ten makes this time around.Comment -
