That doesn't give Vegas an edge though. You still have the option to pick your side/total.

sure you still have the option, but in regards to total volume bet before game in conjunction with minimizing 'middle opportunity', Vegas shades the line in this fashion.

If you have a record of all your plays and results, filter out your 2nd Half plays, then filter out your 2nd Half plays made in terms of trying to middle. Would probably need a large sample size to see this as well as book data. Not sure how many 2HPlays you make

gives Vegas a 'majority edge' ...doesn't mean Vegas has an edge against you on every 2nd Half play you make.

But, more often than not, you're in the majority.

It's what sucks about tailing. If you pick it yourself you only have yourself to yell it. You pick it off a board where someone posts plays. Many people will come in and complain to the source. Just human nature. I personally don't mind the venting. I feel their pain. But know that in the end it was your own choice.
