Hate to say it but if you can't get the line then watch out... I try my best to buy it down.. If you're not on a book that you can do it on, its almost better to no play. I mean spreads haven't been that close but when they are it seems to just Fukk u so hard :|

nah, I mean I had 6 straight winning days last week up until breaking even basically on Sunday and Monday. Went nuts on Tuesday and Thursday (lost a little on Wed) but down some today (3-5). Been a magical March run for me. I try to make it a point NOT to fade Ayo and tail him if I lean that way. BOL tomorrow pickle

I didn't buy down to -2.5 for some reason because I hate buying TO the .5. Not sure why. 3 is THE biggest number though so if you buy, buy on or off it because you don't get more value for buying points. True, BOL mackave

I find myself buying the points to get to Ayo's number most of the time because I don't want to miss out on the play.

But I can also see why TP and other people don't buy it down to the number and just lay off. If your play average ends up being at -120 juice, then you have to win around 55% of the time in order to profit instead of 52%. (if you're playing consistent unit amounts) Ends up being a big deal over the course of hundreds of games.

Normally I buy off a hook so I don't lose. If he takes a team -3 and I have -3.5 I'll buy down. I'll take a push if it happens. I just don't want to lose multiple units by the hook because I didn't buy it.

Although I'm not sure this is the best strategy....
