One key to Ayo's success is that he plays games that range from PK to 4 on most occasions. Very smart. Why? Because teams are playing to win the game, not playing to cover a double digit spread or even less. The late free throws at the end usually cover the 2, 3 or 4 point spread if not already put away. Even the short dawgs I'm sure are actually projected to win outright. For a great capper to feel confident about playing a 10 point fave, seems to me like they'd have to have them projected to win by 15, 16, 17 or more.... I would even venture to say that with the extensive amount of time they put into capping, that there's not much time or incentive to put into really digging into and investing in a double digit line. Just my take on the situation. Feel there's a lot of value to be found in the short line.

Haha, "Get in where you fit in!" But yeah good points on those lines, I can see value in a line with a high number but yeah it's a tougher gut check to pull the trigger on

I had +4 so was okay, but I had to rewind that shit to see what happened. Looked like he dunked it justtttt before the buzzer. TV even showed 65-62. No idea why they took it away. Major implications for many I'm sure.

Was watching live, originally they counted it (put the 2 points on the bottom line scoreboard). Then saw the score changed to 63-62. Checked score app, it originally had 65-62, then updated a minute later to 63-62.

Hey guys, quick question for the more seasoned bettors in this thread..

What is the general rule of thumb when it comes to buying points? Tonights UCONN game for example I got them at -4 so I lost either way but I considered buying the point and then didnt. It seems as if every time I dont buy that point or half a point it falls on that exact number. Of course im sure its me just remembering those bad beats but Id still love to know what the rule of thumb is.

If you miss the spread by a point or two, do you just pass on that game altogether? Is there ever a case in which you buy that extra point or two? Ive always read that you never buy points in anything other than football but id love to hear what you guys think. Thanks in advance!
