True, but I also won't be making 16 plays or 20 plays in a day on days like Saturdays or Sundays when there are a ton of games on the board ... my personal preference is to stay close to five per day for my own money management. I don't mind playing maybe 7 on some days and will stick with the plays for a day like today when there is a manageable number, but double digits regardless or results is not in my blood.

Like I said at the outset these are plays that I wanted to track to see how they responded over the course of the season as early on, it seemed like the ones with +/- 2.5 point differentials were cashing better than 55% or so here early. I use these plays to automatically limit myself to looking at less per day and then I use my own gut feeling, research, etc. to pick out the plays from these Pomeroy ones that I like best.

I definitely want to leave this open to people to work with it however they choose. Some may blindly play all the ones that fit the criteria and that's cool, but for me, I work my own plays off these plays if that makes sense.

That is the issue with Pomeroy. You can end up with a lot of plays that fall within the +/- 2.5 point filter. So it's best to use it as a screen for good plays (with other filters involved). I've found you can hit close to 60% that way.

There's around 13 plays today. Just want to say this one more time because I have repeated it twice before but it looks like you have to play these games as early as possible as most of the games today have moved towards the Pomeroy prediction so if betting the game in many cases you would be taking a worse number than the opener.

I find it amazing that of all the games today in only 8 games there is just a 3 point difference(one game has a 4 pt diff) in the POM line and offshore and only 4 games that was a 2.5 diff. It goes to show you how accurate the POM line is. Don't forget that his predictions come out first before the Cris, the Greek, of Pinny's lines come out

I think one thing that may be worth looking back at is if there are certain circumstances under which KenPom is better at picking. For example, maybe he's better at calling games when the spread is less than 10. Maybe he's better with favs than dogs. Stuff like that. Not sure if there is a difference but it may be worth looking for and following patterns.

Again, for you guys who are using this formula for picks ... craft it however you choose. I just put these plays up as quick as I can every day and I have been pretty consistent at putting them up around the same times every day so that I believe there is consistency to the plays be it based on opening lines or where the lines are when I post these plays.

If you don't mind Eagles, I'll try to keep a record on the POM plays against only the opening number(almost always at Bookmaker, if it's any where else I will list the book). Last 2 days only- record 3-1. Todays play is on East Car at +7(opener). When one plays the games, will have a difference, on what is bet. Right now Purdue could be a play at -7 1/2 but the opener was 8 so it would not qualify.

Going to stick with the 2.5 + difference or more which you reccommended early on(great call). I will also list the ones over a 5 pt difference with a * but I don't think there will too many of those but I will put them in the official record that I keep.

If you want I could start another thread so not to clutter this one.
