Yeah I ran the NBA. Got bulls +8.5, Rox +8.5, Lakers -9, Pistons +10.5, Nets +10, Pacers +5.5 based on system.

I'm also on the Oklahoma, Dallas, and Pacers moneyline but those are based on my own capping. So probably -ev

I ran the NBA numbers at noon, but I'm just tracking them. I came up with:

did Betjam cap you @ 2 point buying or take away point buying altogether? I just read back a few pages and saw that betjam did that to you on $25 wagers. WOW! guess they don't want anyone beating them regardless of the amounts. that is being a little tight for my taste. I wonder if they do this to everyone? guess they don't have any JM players.

I have been doing better overall with CBB...I don't get nearly as many plays in NBA because I think it's harder to get an edge in the NBA maybe since I have -170 lines???k

When betting on matchbook you can find some edges using their alternative lines that are off pinny by as much as 2.5 points. I think you can find some nice edges there . Has anyone tried it?

I haven't; I don't have an account at matchbook. I guess if you don't have access to -165/-170 lines, then that that could possible be a viable alternative - it would really depend on the juice for those alt lines.

How'd you fellows do? I went 6-2 in NCAA for +13 units and 4-4 in NBA for -2 units

I did a total of 9-3-1. I'm not happy with the way the noon games that I tracked played out. Maybe it's because I'm using -165 in the calculator, and you guys are using -170, so I'm playing games that you normally wouldn't. The night games that I played did good, though.

So this is what I came up with for today, doing all the -108+ games, but this time, instead of putting in -165 as what it would cost me to buy the 3 points, I put in -170 (the same as you guys), because for some reason, ya'll are doing WAY better with day games than I am, and the only remaining variable is that I am inputting a different juice than ya'll are.

Nah, cfb is almost over, and I can't buy points as cheap as cheme could for football. Not to mention, I can't do the correlated parlays that he was doing to make so much money. Just sticking with nba/cbb for now. We'll figure out something for mlb as well - I know that cheme did pretty good in mlb last season.

All in all, an okay day. I ended up going 10-5-2, but picking up +8.9 units.

I did track (didn't bet) what plays I would've had by betting all of the CBB games an hour before gametime, and wow! I'm so glad I didn't bet them ... they lost close to -35 units!!!

So, after several days of turning my losing streak around, I've finally figured it all out.

Hey Chili, for your NBA Games you did right before 5pm did you use -170 for your cost. I'm just asking because I got different numbers and I'm just trying to figure out why.

No, I used -165 as my cost for the NBA games that I ran at 5pm. For the games I ran around 11-11:30am this morning, I used -170, and stuck to games that were -108 or worse. That seems to be what is working the best for me, so I'm sticking with it.

Also, using impper's formula to determine your unit size is the best way to go. The formula is: 1+ (edge * 1.41). So, whatever edge percentage the calculator gives you, do the math with that formula, and that's how many units to bet for that game. Also, I only play games with an edge percentage of 0.75% or higher.

Did you stick to games that were -108 for NBA as well as college?

Definetly going to do -108 for college from now on, had a crazy day today, went 16-8-1 on anything with an edge above .5 playing just before the start of games made money but just barely. I like the idea of doing all the college games around 11am and only doing the -108- or better and then NBA right before they start.

I've been looking over notes and that would seem to work out much better for me. Haven't tried impper's formula but I keep hearing good things so I am trying it out tomorrow.

When I do all of the games between 11am-noon, I only look for games (both nba/cbb) that are -108 or worse. When I do the NBA games at 5pm, I run all of the games through the calculator.

I know that sometimes I might be double-betting on an NBA game, like I did today, with both Atlanta and Sacramento, but it has been working out for me, and money is money.

To give you an idea of how well impper's formula is, here's the results from the past 3 days:

Just betting the edge percentage as your unit = +27.2 units.
Just flatbetting 2 units per play = +22.6 units.
Using impper's formula = +59.2 units.

I did pretty good in CBB, went 3-1, just hoping that the clippers pull through and cover the spread

wow, clips just down by 10 now, what a comeback in the 3rd quarter. i hope they keep it up, because if they lose, then i'll have a small losing night, because it was a higher bet unit
