I don't know if this has been posted but here goes. I think all cappers know more about their perspective team they have watched yr in and yr out. So what do you guys think about sharing info about their particular team. To give an example i can and have capped Illinois games with great success and almost fell out of my chair when i seen the -2 line against Ohio St. I knew the line would be close but i knew from watching them it was going to be no contest which was an easy winner. I think people have more insight and more info due to where they live and who they follow regurally. Nothing is bulletproof but would love to have people join me and give their input for a certain team and the gm they r playing that day. My pick obvioussly is Illinois and will provide my input on them in this thread on the days they play. Anyone else want to help out the forum and join?

i too am an OSU fan and didn't see the blow-out coming. i think that it had a fair amount to do with Kevin Kuwik giving the pregame speech:

no wonder those guys came out so fired up. Matta pushed just the right buttons prior to tip.

I think Ohio St. is one of the top 5 teams in the country. Illinois was no match. Demetri has been playing way over his ability or was playing over his head in the prior gms. I knew it could not continue and the 2 rookie guards in Richardson and Paul have not faired well in big gms to pick up the slack. Whenever Tisdale and Davis are matched up with someone who has talent and bulk in the lane like Lauderdale they r forced to take jump shots which leads to tougher shots and less Off rebounds. Illinois did not have one matchup on the court where they could say they had an advantage that gm. Just my 2 cents

Do either of you have any input and reasoning to your thoughts of the gm tonight vs Purdue?

As far as the Covers forum. I know what you are talking about. BUT there r multiple people picking and when one person loses a few times they r replaced by one of the othe hundred who picked the gm right. So I think it does help but i dont know how reliable it is.

I really think its about as accurate as using ESPN Sportsnation polls to predict whose going to win games..

I am a URI fan, and I'm saying St Louis and the under are both viable plays tonight as URI has almost not shot of covering this game on the road. URI likes to play uptempo but struggles forcing their tempo on good defensive units
