Yeah to much of a gift will be curious to to see what the line does tomorrow when a ton gets dumped on mich st. Also watch out mich st is due for one of their terrible games they usually have about 5 a year where they just dont show up. Penn st has be pretty impressive the 3 times I have seen them play this year. Dont forget about my own personal #1 rule dont bet against home underdogs in the big ten.

Also, Mich St was favored by 9 last year on the road...and Penn St ended up beating them by 9 instead...I like Penn St in this one....

I am a Spartan fan and I am going big on this game. I have MSU -5.
Both MSU and PSU are playing well right now, but I think the overall talent and motivation of MSU will cover this game. Below is an article from the MSU beat reporter.
Tom Izzo is a great motivator and I think he and the players will prove it tonight.
Spartans prepare for Nittany Lions 'like it's the Big Ten championship'
Izzo hoping to avoid repeat of '07 loss with first 4-0 league record
EAST LANSING - Motivation for Penn State around here is usually about as abundant as enthusiasm for snow shoveling.
Not this year.
This year, Michigan State is approaching its trip to State College like it's a mission to Madison, West Lafayette or Ann Arbor.
"We're preparing like it's the Big Ten championship," coach Tom Izzo said.
That's because tonight, the No. 7 Spartans (13-2 overall, 3-0 Big Ten) can increase their early hold on first place in the league, match last season's Big Ten road win total, and avenge the upset loss a year ago that essentially crushed their title hopes - if they can beat a Penn State team (13-4, 2-2) that is good enough to warrant some motivation.
The Nittany Lions have a true trio of stars in sophomore guard Talor Battle (18.9 points a game), senior guard Stanley Pringle (14.6) and senior forward Jamelle Cornley (13.9).
Battle and Pringle combined for 36 points against the Spartans on Feb. 2, 2008 at Bryce Jordan Arena, prompting Izzo to say after the game that they "tore our guards apart."
Penn State's 85-76 win was a low point for MSU, and it combined with an equally incomprehensible 43-36 loss at Iowa to knock the Spartans from the Big Ten race.
But tonight is not as much about revenge - MSU technically got that three weeks later with an 86-49 rout at Breslin Center - as it is about realization of potential.
Izzo thinks he has a championship team, so he is pushing his players to prove him right. And tonight is a chance to signify a departure from last season, when a strong overall finish of 27-9 was marred by a 3-6 mark in Big Ten road games.
Asked if Izzo seems extra motivated for this game, senior center Goran Suton said: "Definitely. He's a competitor, he's upset."
"I am (pushing harder)," Izzo said. "I'm starting to see this team getting a little better, but I understand the mines that are out there in college basketball."
Penn State certainly has some explosiveness, and a better team than a year ago. The Nittany Lions beat Georgia Tech on the road and upset Purdue at home a week ago.
Battle and Pringle are playing so well, Big Ten Network analyst Tim Doyle has dubbed them the league's best backcourt.
Shovel that onto the motivation pile.
"Listen to the Big Ten Network, listen to Doyle, and they're gonna kill everybody," Izzo said.
"They've got two good guards, and yet I think I've got a few pretty good guards, too," Izzo said. "It's gonna be a hell of a matchup."
Individual pride is a factor here. MSU senior guard Travis Walton did not play well in last year's loss to Penn State.
Tonight he will take a shot at slowing down Battle, whose speed and jump shot are comparable to MSU's budding sophomore star, Kalin Lucas.
"I want to get (Big Ten) defensive player of the year, that's my goal," Walton said. "In order to get that, I've got to hold players like that."
With a win, the Spartans would be 4-0 in the Big Ten for the first time under Izzo. But last year's lessons should help this group brush off such minor milestones as well.
A win over Illinois on Jan. 30, 2008 gave MSU a 19-2 record, marking the best 21-game start in program history. Much was made of it, and the Spartans were sitting at 7-1 in the Big Ten.
Then they went to Penn State.
