Bass seems like a trap actually. I think Haslem will be gaurding him pretty closely and he might not have double digits.. Rondo's drive and kick gets him around 5 open shots every game but will he make enough?

Bovada doesn't have a line on Bass but I would take him over 11 points and pay as much as -115 for it.

by the time i got to it, it was at -130 so i just layed a small wager on it along with Rondo over 14.5 points..its currently at -145

That's actually not a bad price. I have -130 being the break even price for that one and -115 on the Rondo prop. What line did you get on that one?

Thanks man, I was actually at over $4,300 of profit about 2 weeks ago and then had a rough stretch. That article is good, it gives you a good preview of Justin's chapter on props. I'm really thinking about giving this whole prop thing a serious try. Last year I did it late in the season and inconsistently. This season I started in the second week of March and with only a $400 deposit at 1 book. I wonder what kind of damage I can do with a couple thousand at 2 or 3 books. I guess we'll have to see.

I'm giving MLB a try for the first time, 10-3-1 since I started 3 weeks ago but I can't find value as easily even though there are a ton of games everyday, it gets frustrating. Yesterday was the first day I even looked at the card in about a week and got an easy winner with Shin-Soo Choo under Hits, Runs, and RBI's. I guess I just have to be more patient and disciplined. Also I'm playing small since I had never done props for bases but once I get a few more plays in and if the results stay positive I will bump those up as well.

ill be giving baseball a try too for the 1st time chem...this is my 1st year in all leagues and the way i play them (+100 and worse) has made me great money in every league too ive tried so far (nfl, ncaa ftbll, ncaa bb, and nba)..

goodluck trying out MLB, im going to give it a try after nba is over....hopefully that goes well for us too!

Funny how I find quite a few dogs in baskets but in MLB it's all been underpriced favorites. I'm laying heavy chalk on those as long as I think there is at least 10 cents in EV or better. Did you have a thread on football last season? Curious to see what kind of props they have there.

yes i started NFL late in the season but did have a thread, didnt have 1 for ncaa cause started late there too...i had never played player props before i tries nfl late in seson..started for just xtra game action, and started to love playing them more than the game sides....NFL prop that was always good was BOTH teams make 33+ yard FGs...was always like +180-+265....not a "player" prop but they have some great 1s...im sure bovada will have tons for football, im at 5d

i did have a thread for ncaa hoops and of course do here for NBA...really startede mixing in 2-3 slots with bb

some people wouldnt like just playing all +props, but it works for me...different strokes for different folks...i play Open 2-3slot parlays with my fav. picks too, and with only playing dogs that pays off huge too....i started only betting +props, becuase even if u went 1-1 single bets u never lose anything, and usually make a little something....being the odds of props i play, i make myself only play 2 a night max., usually 1 during playoffs... just cause since they are tougher to win, during bad streak it wont get too bad

i always check ur thread to see what u like, i respect ur skills at player props WAY more than any1 else on sbr and want to check out MLB thread....noty sure how thats going to go for me, as i hate baseball and never watch it....but ill just go off stats, ect...just not sure how it will go with the choices i have seen available at 5dimes

That sounds interesting, thanks for the kind words. Hopefully Justin is at the bash this year and I can get a few pointers on props for football. I met him 2 years ago and the dude is pretty cool, not to mention very knowledgeable.
