Clippers PG Chris Paul Total Assists Over 9.5 [-120]
Paul has double digit assists in the last two meetings against Phoenix in which the Clippers shot 46 & 50% from the floor. In the 1st meeting, he had just five assists when LA shot 36%. Phoenix is struggling to defend lately, allowing 47% from the floor in their last five which is the same # that the Clippers have averaged over their last five.

Kings-Thunder Total Made Three Point Shots Over 13.5 [-105]
Sacramento has become a little more of a three point capable team with the back court of Thomas & Thornton. They have several shooters that are capable of netting them 7 or more threes. OKC is one of those hot or cold three point shooting teams. They don't always shoot a high volume, but they average seven makes on 20 attempts per game. The Kings are allowing close to 45% from deep over their last five, so OKC could againa take advantage. When they met last week, there were 14 combined makes - 9 from Sacramento.

Denver SG Arron Afflalo Total Points Over 16.5 [-115]
Afflalo had a string of four straight games scoring 18 or better broken last time out against the Clippers. Some of that was lack of opportunity as he took just eleven shots. During his hot streak, he had attempted at least 14 shots each game and got to the line at least six times in three of those games. Overall, Afflalo has beaten this # in eight of his last 13. He has scored 30 and 20 against the Suns this season.

Portland-Memphis Total Three Point Shots Made Over 11.5 [-115]
I'm treating Portland's last three games as a farewell tour to one of the better prop cash cows to come along this year. Since the firing of Nate McMillan and the installation of Kaleb Canales as the interim coach, this Trail Blazers club has become a much more free wheeling three point shooting club. Injury questions remain for Crawford and Batum, but they did not play last time out and Portland still contributed seven makes and allowed ten makes to a Utah team that does not make that many threes. Portland's lack of defensive effort might be just as good for this prop as their ability to make threes. Even with Felton out. Batum and Crawford likely out, there is still Nolan Smith, Johnny Flynn, Wesley Matthews and Luke Babbitt to jack up threes. The last two especially are capable of multiple makes per game and this team can still contribute at least six per game. Memphis will look to attack a perimeter defense allowing almost 49% shooting from deep over their last five. The Grizzlies are not a high volume three point shooting team, but they do have capable shooters in Conley, Pondexter, Gay, Arenas, Mayo and Randolph. Last time they met in March, Memphis only made three, but Portland had ten makes. Will wait for lineups to see if we don't get an extra boost with Crawford or Batum, but likely to roll with this one regardless.

Should be a good battle with Glenn Davis down low with these two wide loads. I think Jefferson should be able to work the boards well though and have a shot to get double digits.

Knicks G/F J.R. Smith Total Points Over 12.5 [-120]
Smith had a string of eight straight games with 14 or more points broken up last time out against Cleveland. Poor shooting was to blame as he shot just 33% from the floor. In the eight game streak, he had shot better than 40% five times. He's still a solid volume shooter, taking at least ten shots in 21 of his last 22 games. Knicks may be looking to limit minutes for guys like Carmelo Anthony, but that shouldn't effect Smith and may in fact get him some more minutes. Looking for at least a dozen shots here to have the best shot.

Nuggets PG Ty Lawson Total Points + Assists Over 24.5 [-120]
Lawson has topped 20 points in five of the last six games. He has at least five assists in eight of his last eleven games. He torched Orlando for 25 & 9 to open the month. This is a back-2-back for both teams with the Magic in worse position here having played overtime in Utah last night. Playing at altitude, I think Denver will look to employ their usual run and gun style - but especially here to try and run the Magic ragged. Lawson's minutes have been pretty steady, so if this game remains somewhat competitive hopefully he can get his 34 or so minutes. In his last ten games when he has played at least 34 minutes, he has scored 20+ in seven of eight.

Hornets PG Kemba Walker Total Points Over 13.5 [-120]
Augustin is now doubtful tonight, so it looks as if Kemba will again be starting at PG. He's missed the last three games which has led to the increased PT for Walker. Walker has scored 16, 20 and 8 against Washington this season. The eight point effort wasn't for a lack of opportunity as he took 19 shots. The key to all three match-ups was that he played 35 minutes or better. Against an equally :meh: team like Washington, hopefully we see a close game.

Hawks-Clippers Total Three Point Shots Made Over 15 [-115]
Two teams still fighting for home court advantage, so expecting a full effort. Atlanta has been getting better and better shooting threes. They are 37% on the season now and have made at least eight in three straight. They run hot and cold, but seem to play up to the level of their competition or down. Clips are streaky as well, but should find room against a leaky ATL defense that is giving up 41% from deep in their last five. Paul, Foye, Young, Butler and Mo Williams all contribute. The lone meeting this season saw 18 threes combined, eight for ATL and ten for LA.
