Lakers-Mavericks Total Three Point Shots Made Over 12.5 (-130)
No Kobe, but this still looks good. Mavs have enough shooters to get 7 or better with double digits always a possibility. LA has been meeting and exceeding their average without Kobe. Sessions, MWP, Blake and Barnes are capable plus the fringe guys. I think LA just needs to get 5 to give Dallas a swhot to finish this up.Comment -
Kings-Trail Blazers Total Three Point Shots Made Over 13 [-125]
With Marcus Thornton back, the Kings now have adequate pieces to make the three point prop probable when they play. Thomas & Thornton in the backcourt aren't shy about jacking up the three ball. They have combined for an average of four threes made per game over their last three on 34 attempts. Throw in Fredette and a couple bench guys like Greene & Outlaw and you've got a club capable of at least a half a dozen threes made. Portland remains a good volume shooting three squad and should have better success tonight against a shaky perimeter defense. Both these teams in fact struggle against the three with the Kings allowing 44% from deep over their last five and Portland, 42%.
Nuggets SG Arron Afflalo Total Points Over 16.5 [-115]
Afflalo has scored 17 or more in six of his last ten games with at least 15 points in ten straight. He is averaging 14 shots per game, usually taking anywhere from three to much higher from three point range. This is a big game with Houston and playing at home, I am hoping Afflalo gets that extra juice flowing. If they can keep this an up tempo game and Afflalo can get at least his average of around 14 shots ... this should have a shot.Comment -

Hawks F Josh Smith Total Points Over 19.5 [-135]
Smith has had two big performances against Toronto in three meetings this year. Last time out in a blowout loss, he scored 26 in just 33 minutes of work. Earlier in the season, he had 28 in a nine pt. ATL win. He had seven in the other meeting, an ATL blowout win. Overall, Smith has now reached the 20 point mark in 21 of his last 28 games. I think he's a difficult match-up for a Raptors team mixing and matching parts due to injury. ATL should put forth a better effort than a few days ago as they look to clinch a playoff spot. Would be helpful if Toronto can keep the game close to help Smith log as many minutes as possible.
Jazz-Mavericks Total Three Point Shots Made Over 11.5 [-110]
Another one of those games where you take your chances when you have one team that can do most or even all of the damage for this by themselves. That is what you get with Dallas. The Mavs are red hot, shooting 46% from beyond the arc over their last five. They have 46 makes in that span with four of five seeing them hit for at least nine threes. Utah is not a volume shooting three point squad, but they do have some shooters. Heyward and Harris are your most potent streak shooters, but guys like Tinsley and Burks can add a couple too. All we're looking for from the Jazz is their averager - four threes here to give this a great shot. When they met in early March, Dallas hit Utah for ten threes and the Jazz added four. Dallas will have the fight the altitude in Utah, but as long as they continue to toss up threes at better than 20+ FGAs per game ... give it a shot.
Spurs-Warriors Total Three Points Shot Made Over 15.5 [-110]
The season-ending groin injury to David Lee makes Golden State almost entirely a perimeter team now which makes this wager even better IMO. In their first game sans Lee, they hit 15/31 from beyond the arc against the Clippers. They are white hot at 45% shooting from deep over their last five. San Antonio has been one of the steadiest three point shooting clubs. They are shooting close to 39% over their last five and should feast on a G-State defense that allows 37% shooting from beyond the arc on the season and over 41% in their last five. The Spurs provide a steady seven-nine threes most nights and like G-State can hit double digits any night.Comment -

Even though it looks like Felton probably will be done for the year for Portland from what I am reading & Batum is questionable, the Portland prop tonight should be a go if they hang the # low because it's against Utah. With Felton out, Flynn & Nolan Smith are splitting PG duties and both - more so Smith can hit threes. As long as Matthews, Babbitt and Crawford play, there are plenty of opportunities. I'm looking for something nice and lazy like 12. Might be lucky if the books over estimate the value of Batum and Felton being out and get something lower like 11-11.5 but that is probably wishful thinking!

Jazz- Trail Blazers Total Three Point Shots Made Over 11.5 [-125]
Felton may indeed play tonight. Crawford will not as Portland gives more minutes to Flynn & Smith. Batum is a game time decision, but I tend to think he won't play. That means more Luke Babbitt. The lineup will be similar to the one that netted eight threes against Phoenix in their last game. Matthews & Babbitt accounted for seven of those. Utah again is not a high volume three point club, but Harris, Hayward, Carroll, Tinsley & Burks can all add to the total. Considering that Portland is giving up 47% from beyond the arc over their last five, Utah should get some clean looks. They average about four makes per game and anything above that only enhances the chances of this hitting. Will wait close to tip to check on Batum's status. If he plays, then this really looks good. Without him, I still rate it pretty solid.
Celtics C Kevin Garnett Total Points Over 16 [-130]
KG has 20+ in five of his last six games overall and gets a chance to school his former teammate Glen Davis tonight against Orlando. He may also see some of rookie Daniel Orton. Either way, I think KG is getting points tonight. With Allen likely out and both Rondo and Pierce carrying some nagging injuries, KG could be in line to get even more touches. He's putting up well over a dozen shots per night and seems much more assertive since taking over at the 5 spot.Comment -
