if i can hit 2-3 wins a week for a couple of month's between those 3 systems i'll be a happy man. any other input on other systems would be nice.
JM NHL, NHL Gold, Home favorites, and a modified version of the under 80 points NBA system that recently popped up. As well as Chase 110 and JM NBA B&C bets. Very busy spreadsheets, but so far, turning good profits.

Yes, lot of skipped bets for head-head reasons, but have plays in all those systems. So far so good. It may look like a lot, but there really aren't as many plays per day as you would think, though some days there are.

Serious question, I'm not breaking your balls, when the A bet loses, like Charlotte did tonight, losing ATS, but covering with buying the 3 points, are you still playing your B bet, or do you call it quits and take the A bet loss? When I was playing A bets, I would still play the B in that situation, but later noticed that several of my losses could have been avoided had I stopped there. Just wondering how others are doing it.

I think JM NHL has had a tough year so far right? Are you playing ML or PL? You going to stick with that system?

No worries Wallco. We go back to last year man, I got respect for you. A little ball busting here and there is all just fun and games, you do good work...
If for example, with the Bobcats tonight, they cover with buying the 3 points, but don't cover at -110 odds. I will continue with the B and (if it goes that far) C bet...

As long as it's not two D bets, then there is a chance.

Last year it kicked ass, this year it is getting it's ass kicked. But the other systems are picking it up, including my NHL Gold, which is now +40 units. I've come this far so I'm riding it out. That is the main reason I like playing several systems, If one tanks, and you never know which one it will be each year, the other ones have been picking it up. Losing with JM NHL, but winning big with NHL Gold, JM NBA for 7/5, +17 with home favorites, and caught the under 80 points system just at the right time for 7/5 B&C betting. And Chase 110 is down a few units. Never boring around here.

That's for sure man, but key is to ride out the bad waves and then in the end profiting, which I learned the hard way several years ago. It's a nice feeling knowing that when systems get to a C or D bet that you don't HAVE to go all in ha

I've been on that system all year. Yes its definately been rough. I play PL on dogs and ML on favs. 4 losses so far this season. Still having a great year so far otherwise. Gonna stick this system out and hopefully pick up a couple more units.

There's been a couple of hefty ones, fortunately so far, the real big C's & D's have come through. The ones that did lose were tolerable, especially since profits from some of the other systems outweighed them by a good margin. I am just playing this week to week, I make my assessments on Monday mornings. Units fluctuate a lot when playing this many systems, but at the end of the week, if the BR is higher than the previous week, then any losses I suffered are quickly forgotten.

Ha that's exactly how I look at it. If my BR is higher at the end of the week then whatever loses that came about are all but forgotten. Might add another system to my arsenal for the 2nd half the of the season, but am thinking that might not be a good idea since I don't want to catch a system during a bad stretch since I haven't been following it all year. Any thoughts on another system that you'd recommend jumping on for the 2nd half of the season?

Currently am using all 3 versions of JM and both SBP's systems (Original and Updated). Actually the SBP NBA systems just went through a really tough stretch, but luckily was labbying and am getting back to my original profit levels from the beginning of the season, but wow, those stretches are rough some times ha...

Don't want to toot my horn, but I love my NHL system. I have a pretty impressive backtest in post #2 of my thread, but it hasn't lost in so long that I'm sure we are over due. I like the under 80 points NBA, but I wouldn't reccommend it until I can learn more about how it's done in past seasons. I did a quick backtest of it, and results playing it at 7/5 all -110 on B&C bets is pretty good. But still, I've made almost 40 units in just a couple weeks on that one. I probably wouldn't jump into anything mid season, especially since you won't have all the wins in your BR in case there is an immediate loss. I say that even though I did the opposite and jumped into the under 80 just a few weeks back, suffered an immediate loss, and been winning ever since.
Mind sharing the link to the 80 points system Wallco? I've never heard of that one before and would love to take a look. Also the way you play the systems intrigues me. You change your unit amounts regularly? How does that work for you? If your doing good and up your unit amount and then hit a loss, what then?
Thanks for the insight.

Sure, the guy who runs the thread is new at it and not all together with it, I strongly suggest monitoring it 100% on your own and not relying on his posts. As I said, 7/5 on B&C bets has been working well, even though that is a 4 game chase system. I have a backtest in his thread somewhere that I ran for several different bet strategies, and it seems as though I and a few others are running his thread at times.
As far as the unit increase question, I do not change my unit sizes, unless I get up 100 units, then I will adjust. If I like certain chase series, I will play them for 2 or 3 units to start, but unit size stays the same, and goes back to 1 unit bets after that series has concluded.

if u chase too many systems at once u might go broke someday when the losing streaks happen together.
u can suffer 5 loss in a row playing 7/5 or regular JM @1%.this isnt an impossible scenario if u play it + NHL gold +80 points system etc
Stick to the same % per play for the entire season unless we take a loss, in which case we will increase our percentages. (the thought behind this is we seldom lose 2 Tier 3 in a row) After about 15 sets we lower the % back down. Hopefully that day will never come, but the chance of a loss is always there.

I agree, I am not telling anyone to do this. The question was asked about what I play and I answered it. I look at it a different way then you, especially since I have been doing very well with it for a few years.

It's possible. As far as JM 7/5 goes, in my entire backtest I believe there as never a 5 loss streak. But you can still have substantial losses if there aren't enough wins in between.

So Denver a 7/5 play on 2/17? Covers closed them at +7 and they lost 84-102.
