Last time they played each other(1/23/10) N.D. won by 10 pts at home (87-77). This Depaul team has dropped 21 straight in Big East play and tonight 9th ranked N.D.looks to make it 22 straight loses. N.D. is coming off a 9 day lay off between games and should be well rested and ready for Depaul. The game against Pitt saw Senior guard Tyler Hansbrough emerge and lead Notre Dame with 19 points and Carleton Scott had 16, including 5-for-5 from behind the arc. Granted Tim Abromaitis, the Irish’s second leading scorer, has struggled and scored only two points in the Pittsburgh game. tonight's game at depaul should let him get his form back shooting with DePaul’s opponents shooting .485 per cent from the field. DePaul’s three top scorers include two freshmen – 6-8 forward Cleveland Melvin and 6-3 guard Brandon Young – along with 6-6 sophomore swingman Tony Freeland. the future is bright but not tonight for depaul!! N.D will prove to be to much for depaul to handle give the points and take N.D. and gl guys!
