You missed a few of Williams22 threads to bump....thought you were bigger than that, but hey it's the internet. I doubt Williams will cry himself to sleep, then state that he's not posting on here anymore, and want people to beg to bring back a guy that is such a SOLID capper. To me it looks like you're asshole puckers up, just like "queen james" does in the playoffs. Except he has a better winning percentage. Nice hit last night.

#14Not at all. To be honest I'm kind of rooting for it at this point. Cleveland would clearly need to do a major roster retooling, and I just don't think they'll be able to pull that off. Also, the coaching staff needs to go.
The thing I've seen with Lebron and his team these last two years is that during the regular season he is able to get his teammates to play with so much confidence that they all play over their heads. However, when they hit the playoffs these guys clam up. Most of them would not be anywhere near where they are today without Lebron. He needs to find a team of guys who were able to perform without him, then boost them up to even greater heights.
I really think a Wade/Lebron pairing is the most likely situation come July 8th.Comment -

#18I have never seen a guy that was more obsessed with a basketball player. Try to keep things in perspective here. Lebron James is never going to cure cancer or make any major contribution to human kind. He is an entertainer. Nothing more than that. He is also paid a "Kings" ransom for what he does..no pun intended. It is one thing to be a fan of a team or a fan of a particular player but Willy you take it to another level. If I could choose any person to meet and have lunch with I can assure you it wouldn't be an athlete and if it was it sure as hell wouldn't be the Queen. I played in a Fantasy baseball league last year with some guys that had this obsession with him as well and I just don't get it. What is it? He is an athlete that is well paid to entertain. What is so ground moving about this? My father once told me he coudn't watch NBA anymore because of this obsession you and many others have with him. There is something very wrong when white woman want to have his baby and white(young men) want to suck his dick. The same person that you idolize to no end would probably not even allow you to park his car. Unreal the drama over this one athlete. Ask yourself this... Without basketball what would Lebron James have? Had he never became a professional athlete.. I am positive had he not became a professional athlete he would have traveled down the wrong road and most likely would be either working at Micky D's or wearing another uniform entirely with multiple numbers on it. Definitely, not stuff I think is worth idolizing, worshipping and standing up for to no end.Comment -

#23I'm not sure why you find rooting for a player so offensive. For what it's worth, Lebron is a fairly intelligent guy and would probably be/is very successful off the court as well. Maybe it's not your thing to be completely loyal to a player and that's fine, but why do you seem to go out of your way to criticize me for doing so?
Nothing wrong with having a favorite player or team for that matter. You take it to a whole new level. You are obsessed with him. Not trying to be critical. I want you to grow up a normal man and live a good life and keep things in perspective. Your worshipping of him is out of balance. I don't know if I have ever seen somebody so enamored with an athlete. It is puzzling to say the least this crush you have on this guy. What has he done for you?
I can tell by our correspondence you are a very intelligent young man and have a bright future ahead of you. No need to ruin it by some worshipping of an athlete. For the most part they are useless human beings and real me-first kinda of people. If you wasn't so in love with this character you call the king you could tell he is no different.
Also, he is not overly intelligent either. He was owned in that interview last nite and leaked information premature about his plans going forward. He handled it poorly. He might have court awareness and good basketball IQ, but as far as an IQ test goes I would bury him and I don't consider myself elite IQ talent.Comment -

I'd love to hear how worshiping an athlete could "ruin my life". I've got things very much in order thank you very much. I'm graduating from an Ivy League institution next week, I've had a job lined up for 8 months that pays very well, I have a girlfriend of nearly 4 years who I'll likely marry, and I'm very close with my family. I know no one probably cares about my life here, but since you seem to have such a problem with my love of Lebron I'm explaining the other dimensions.
It is hard for me to have a vested interest watching sports without having a team or player I love. Sure I can enjoy a game, but I love waking up excited knowing I have a Cavs game to watch at 8 that night. I've always had a favorite player I followed constantly. I went to sleep at night when I was as young as 4 years old watching MJ and saw almost every game he played in the 90s. Now I watch every game Lebron plays. If that comes across being too innocent and naive for some of you, so be it.Comment -

#28You're entitled to your opinions, but I think Lebron is incredibly intelligent. The guy has faced more hype and media scrutiny than any athlete in the history of sports, and it all began as young as 16 years old. In his 9 years since then he's done an amazing job of handling himself publicly and has always been kind and gracious with everyone he meets. My uncle (who is not a Lebron fan) works for MSG and has interviewed Lebron several times. He always comments on how maturely he handles himself and how courteous he is to those around him (especially compared to most stars). That's a kind of star I don't mind worshiping. I always have always loved his game because he plays with a team first attitude, which hasn't been seen from a non-PG in quite some time.
