#354I really think the best move here is to In-Game bet. See how the Cav's come out in the first quarter, specifically Lebron. We will soon know if he's checked out or if he's ready to win this game. I also think the 2nd half bet will be much easier to figure out as well. If the cav's are down double digits at half then they will tank. If it's close or the Cav's are winning decisively then take the Cav's. Much better move betting this way tonight. Too many unknowns coming into this game. Why not wait a bit.Comment -

#362after reading everything thats been said on here up until now, i personally think celtics will win. However, i do see both sides. Hearing the argument that Lebron wont have 2 horrible games in a row, he'll have more intensity, etc.. are all valid. on the other hand, you see that the celtics are a aging veteran group of guys who want another ring, are at home in the garden, and have an up n coming PG who can blow by the guards CLE has been putting on him. It was interesting to hear your guys opinions on stern, the nba being rigged, or that lebrons meds are affecting him mentally. All make sense to me so im not doubting it. I feel that there are more things in the favor of taking the celts at home..GL to everyone betting today regardless on who you pick. I'll be following BOS at home tho, just my .02Comment -

#364I don't get what goes on in your brain. You're such an indecisive, radical thinker. Teams that sweep get that advantage- simple as that. Stop looking at the line movement, stop looking at public %s, and study the matchup carefully. There will be no "fix" tonight- the better team will win the game.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#367NO! He going with the percentage. It was like 83% or something, where the home team closes out a team out facing elimination as a visitor going into a game 6.
Even he can't be that dumb to pass that up. Then again, maybe he's hoping they pull a Boston Redsox like the 2004 ALCs.Comment -

Let's see: in Game 1, Boston came out and hammered Cleveland for 2.5 quarters. Then Cleveland hammered Boston.
In Game 2, Boston hammered Cleveland in Cleveland.
In Game 3, Cleveland hammered Boston in Boston.
In Game 4, Boston shut Cleveland down. Then in Game 5, when everyone and their dog -- including you -- expected LeBron and his boys to lay the hammer, they rolled over.
If you can come up with something conclusive for what to expect tonight based on this series' history and matchups, be my guest. I'm all ears.
I'm just saying the NBA probably doesn't want a weekend without games.Comment -

#372The only people that should be betting this game are people that have closely followed the NBA for over 5 years. You seem like you are new to the NBA- maybe a few years- no disrespect. But you're looking at things you shouldn't be looking at.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

BTW- I didn't expect Lebron to lay any hammer in game 5, If I did, I would have bet Cleveland for the game. I ended up taking them second half only for only $150. Get your facts straight.Last edited by Goat Milk; 05-13-10, 06:22 PM.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

Dude, they were down 6 or 7 at half, yet you took the 2nd half bait because you expected LeBron to lay the hammer. If you didn't, you wouldn't have put any $$$ on them at all.

Ok, LakerBoy has a horrible postseason record- does that mean that "Chris Johnson" is a better capper/knows more about the NBA b/c his record is better this postseason? Get real man.
Chris Johnson- you're a fool. And anyone that quotes you without talkin down to you is a fool. I don't talk down to ppl- I'm just arrogant, and you need to earn my respect. If you don't want it, you don't have to have it. Good day.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#382Can we all be in agreement prior to this game starts that if the Cavs win, there will be no claims of "Stern/refs rigged this game?" I'm on the cavs, and if I lose I will say it's because I am stupid, and that reason alone is why I lost money.Comment -
