Well, final score 105-90 for Olympiakos (NBA scoresheet in just 40 minutes)

It was a very entertaining ballgame.Efes played very strong for 25 minutes and had an 8 point lead. But then it was a meltdown because they lost a match with 15 points and Olympiakos had 29/48 FT's!!!

2 minutes before the end it was an 8 point game,it could go either way Eagles.

So the safiest bet was the over with a line of 160 points.Efes plays very fast and shoots many treys...I will pound them from now on the over every single time.

As for the Mozgov bet,he played only 6 minutes and had 2 points...Don't know if he got injured, very disappointing.... .......

      11.12.09: [2nd Half] Cavaliers/Heat OVER 89.5 (-110)
Can't expect 45 FTs, but the shooting was still solid with both teams scoring 42 points just on field goals. Still a lot of FG attempts even with the FTs, so the tempo is decent here. If it stays close, then FTs could make the difference if LeBron & D-Wade keep getting to the line.

        11.12.09: [2nd Half] Suns/Lakers UNDER 108.5 (-110)
Suns struggling on the 2nd night of the back-2-back. Lakers if they stay up big should begin thinking about Friday and Denver, which means a lot of garbage in the 4th. That could mean a lot of points, but if the Suns continue to struggle shooting and it doesn't turn into a foul fest on ticky-tack calls, the UNDER could happen.

              11.13.09: [2nd Half] Rockets/Kings OVER 102.5 (-110)
Plenty of shots and threes. Some FTs sprinkled in. Rockets trailing by 11, 62-53. Should see a run by them, but expect defense to still be a little loose and perhaps get this done.

90 point first half with the Thunder shooting horribly, but staying in the game with FTs. Will either be woefully short or right on the money I believe.

                    11.15.09: Rockets/Lakers OVER 201 (-110)
Houston has topped the 100 point mark in 4 of 5 road games. L.A. had a string of 6 consecutive 100+ point games stopped on the back end of their back-2-back when Denver ran them out of the building in the 2nd half, 105-79 the final. The 1st meeting got over this total, but only because of overtime - however, a poor 4th quarter was the reason the 200 point mark was in trouble after a solid first three quarters. Rockets road D has been porous, yielding over 105 ppg. With the Lakers shooting well at home, L.A. likely can get 100+ here. Houston needs to get 92-100 I think for this to get done.

11.18.09 (1:30pm ET): [Germany Bundesliga] Brose Baskets Bamberg vs. Ratiopharm ULM OVER 150.5 (-115)
These two played to a 151 point total the first time they met, a 1 point Ratiopharm win at home. Brose is averaging 71.6 ppg this season in Bundesliga play through 9 games. The average is a bit skewed when you throw in a skunky 44 pt. performance against defensive stalwarts ALBA. In their last 5, Brose has scored 80, 44, 75, 89 & 69 - so they are capable of points. They also give up a little over 75 ppg. Ratiopharm averages a shade over 77 ppg and that is despite two skunks of 60 & 56 earlier this season. At home, they have put up 80 ppg while yielding 87 ppg, so this one looks as if it should have plenty of offense.

                          11.18.09: [2nd Half] Knicks/Pacers UNDER 105 (-110)
Knicks are bad on defense, but the Pacers up big should tighten their D hopefully. Lots of first half FTs, so that could cut the point total down in the 2nd as well.

                            11.18.09: [2nd Half] Nets/Bucks UNDER 94 (-118)
Nets are on the back end of a back-2-back, so their shooting may fall off in the 2nd half. Bucks likely to shoot better in the 2nd half, so it should balance out. 89 point 1st half, not many FTs (7 attempts total between both). Defense should buckle down for Milwaukee in the 3rd and hopefully possible fatigue from NJ leads to a low point total.

                                11.18.09: [2nd Half] Jazz -1.5 (+100)
Fading the back-2-back team again in Toronto. Without Bosh's 22 and a crapload of FTs, they'd be getting annhilated here. Jazz likely won't shoot as hot as they are, but hopefully will wear down the Raptors.

11.19.09 (2:30pm ET): [Spain ACB] Lagun Aro GBC vs. Gran Canaria OVER 148.5 (-115)
Lagun Aro are a solid scoring outfit in Spain, averaging just over 77 ppg. They have also been fairly giving defensively, yielding 75 ppg with their low total being 71. They are 3 point friendly as 35-40% of their shots in most games fall from beyond the arc. Gran Canaria generally seem to play the tempo preffered by their foes. They average 74 ppg, somewhat skewed by a 102 point performance - however, they have hit for 67, 79 & that 102 in their last 3. Against Caja & Estudiantes who play to higher totals, they were able to get into the 70s. Defensively they have been pretty solid with a 71 ppg average against. With Lagun Aro holding home court here, they will need to get the tempo to their liking to push this total high enough for the OVER. They have hit better than this total in 4 of 6 overall and Canaria has had two of their three highest game totals come on the road. These two teams are fighting in the middle of the table in the league, so it should be a spirited effort that hopefully sees through for the OVER.

                                              11.20.09: [Finland Korisliiga] Kouvot -6 (-115)
Kouvot beat today's opponent Namika Lahti by 22 at home early in the season. Kouvot is a solid road club, going 4-2. The two losses came to top of the table Pyrito & 4th place, LrNMKY. Kouvot are currently 2nd while Namika sits in 10th at 3-9. Namika's only two wins at home this season came against similarly low sitting teams in Kataja & FoKoPo (11th/9th out of 12). Their last two losses at home were by 23 to 7th place Honka & 19 to top sitting Pyrinto. Kouvot is just two games back of Pyrinto at this early stage of the season, but must win games like this if they are legit title contenders. They've covered this spread in three straight road wins.

Also, it's a crapload of points but OVER 165 between KTP-ToPo is solid as well. They played to 186 in the first meeting. ToPo's last five road games, they have scored - 110, 74, 103, 96 & 98. KTP has scored 90, 79, 88, 99 & 82 in their last five at home.

                                                11.20.09 (1pm ET): [Turkey TBL] Efes Pilsen/Galatasaray OVER 151.5 (-115)
Efes Pilsen are in fine form in Turkey this season with 4 wins in their first 5 games. They average almost 83 ppg, yielding about 73 ppg. Pilsen has scored 80 or more in 4 of 5. Galatasaray holds a 3-2 mark. They are not as explosive, but still hold a 76 ppg average thanks in part to a 98 point explosion a few games back and they have hit 70 or better in three straight. In two road matches, they have given up 153 points. All four match-ups between these two last season (including playoffs) hit above this number. Pilsen does most of it's damage inside the 3 point arc, but are an efficient 3 point shooting crew - averaging 18-20 attempts most games. Gala is much more sporadic in shooting threes. They run hot & cold, but will not be afraid to hoist it up. Efes Pilsen should continue their run of 80+ point games in this one as Gala do not possess the greatest D in the league. If Pilsen gets upwards of 85 or better, this should have little problem going OVER the total. Gala will need to show up and play strongly though. 70 is the magic number for me with them. If they get that, it'd be a shocker not to see Pilsen finish the rest off.

Another big total, but another one that looks solid. These two teams met way back in Week 3 with Honka rolling up a 99-83 road win. In Kataja's last three, the totals have been 183, 172 & 166 with one team in each of those games scoring at least 100. Kataja has travelled well, scoring at least 80 in 4 of their 5 road games. Their D has been friendly as well, yielding only one game of less than 87 points on the road. Honka has been steady at home with points coming from both sides with totals of 183, 159, 174 & 168 in their last four. Honka has scored at least 77 in four straight home games & 86 or better in 3 of 4. This one seems ripe for points & perhaps a repeat of their 180+ meeting the first time.

Very similar to their game in Sacramento where there was a big first quarter and a solid 2nd scoring. 2nd half both fell off some with 94 points total. Both are off games last night that had a ton of points in the 4th quarter. Solid shooting by both tonight without Houston getting a ton of threes. Kings need to continue to get to the line, 12 FT attempts. Rockets only with 5. 59-52 Houston lead.

Early in the Greek season, but AEK appears as if it will be a solid scoring outfit. AEK has scored 86 & 79 in their two home games with a road turd of just 46. Their defense has been leaky, yielding 273 points in 3 games with a low of 88. Kavala has not faired as well on offense with 60, 61 & 95 points. That 95 did come against a Top 3 team though, the highest point total allowed by far on the season from that club. Defensively, Kavala is also poor - yielding 81, 78 & 96. AEK might be the ATS spread pick here, but they're 0-3 so I'd rather go with the total where AEK looks likely to light up the scoreboard for 80+ points. The question will be can Kavala get the rest? With AEK's defense porous as well, I think the chances are more likely than not.

Bloodbath for OKC, losing 57-34 at the half. Lakers putting up a ton of shots, Thunder doing their fair share, but shooting very poorly. Okay amount of FTs, but could use more to help. Blowouts usually go one of two ways - a total dog of a 2nd half with lackadaisical shooting or garbage time where defense cannot be found and points come in waves. OKC can't do much worse than 31% shooting, so they should at least put up 40+ in the half. Lakers scrubs may do the rest.

Looking at the games by each team against Peristis, we easily realize that Kavala can as well light up the scoreboard against fast-paced teams. I think both teams will score in the 80s.

One angle to the Over here is both teams are fast-paced and have a leaky defense. Those are too attributes that make Over a strong play here.

Both shot well too, over 50%. The tempo favors a run & gun game. If the whistles keep blowing, you have to like the OVER in the 2nd half. Grizz lead 60-50 at the break. Both teams shoot pretty decently on the season an don't defend that well. Let's go for the over.

Certainly don't expect Portland to shoot 60%, but the shots are being hoisted up with the Bulls actually not shooting bad at around 44%. Portland got to the FT line 15 times, that helped also. Portland beating Chicago with their posts, Aldridge & Pryzbilla, so the outside shots are not necessarily the ones leading to the hot shooting. As with yesterday's late pick, this is a 15 point gap right now, so it may be ugly in the 2nd half ... garbage time & aggressiveness could lead us to the over. Let's book it.
