#21212.29.09 (10am ET): [Greece A1] Olympiakos vs. Peristeri OVER 162.5 (-115)
A big total, but Olympiakos is one of the top scoring outfits in Greece, averaging just a shade over 90 ppg through the first 8 league games. At home, they have hit for 107, 87 & 86. Their defense has been decent, but does give up points - 73 or more alllowed in 6 of 8. Peristeri has been solid on offense, averaging 77 ppg, so they should be able to get some points if Olympiakos sets the tempo high as per norm for them. Amazingly, Olympiakos' totals have hit EXACTLY 163 three times this year, which probably explains why bookmakers have it set here. 6 of 8 overall have hit 163 or better for Olympiakos this season. Since bookies showed a lack of imagination in setting the line, I'll show one in making this selection as well. Get those point scraping shoes out!Comment -

Loser today. 148 points. They never got it quite going today with enough, 78-70 Olympiakos won. Thought Olympiakos would have been in the 80s for sure.Comment -

#21512.30.09 (11:30am ET): [Finland Korisliiga] ToPo vs. Kouvot OVER 164.5 (-115)
Big total in the land of plenty, but very do-able seeing as they played to 181 in their 1st meeting at Kouvot. Topo has scored 90+ in four straight games and hit 90 or better in 6 of their last 8. ToPo should be out for payback after giving up 107 to Kouvot in the first meeting and may very well flip the script from that 107-74 loss.Comment -

#219It's funny, the Finnish basketball league reminds me of their soccer league - there were a TON of high scoring matches in soccer and the overs were easy cashes for a great deal of the time for the majority of the matches and then it become more of a 50-50 proposition. Same seems to be happening here as I have noticed a lot of UNDERs in the past two match days. Something to keep an eye on.Comment -

#221I haven't had any money in a regular sportsbook in the past week or so because I had some bills to pay. So I've been doing mostly SBR Sportsbook stuff and haven't been paying attention to the Euro baskets of late. Hoping to re-up with some money here soon and be back in action by the weekend perhaps.Comment -

#222I see, well good luck with all that. Hope you don't mind I'm gonna post some of my own picks in this thread.
Cashed big with Crvena Zvezda yesterday winning by 20+, the spread was a mere -5.5.
Today I'm rolling with another hot Serbian team Partizan who are getting 18 points @ Olympiakos.
So for anyone who is interested, grab the points, bookies are completely underestimating Partizan in this match-up.

#224sorry but you really wagered money AGAINST Olympiakos at home ? No.1 betitng rule in eurobasket is to bet on Olympiakos at home no matter what the spread is or simply stay away... no offense but I don't know how anybody can bet against them at home. their best quarters are usually the third and the 4th. Even with being 30 up they wonÄt stop scoring.
no offense... but you should remember this rule everytime you look at a olymp. spread at homeComment -

#228not from the beginning. saw they were only up by 3 at halftime and placed a livebet on Olympiakos -9,5. Line was a gift from bet365.

#230BL: Partizan was in the game the entire first half, as the HT score reflects. Partizan just got tired in the 2H and gave up after they fell by double-digits. It was just tough luck for Partizan backers.
And I've actually made some good profit off Eurocup and Euroleague the past week or two, the good information is out there, you just have to go digging to find it. What's killing me is, I got BC +16 right now vs Duke, they were 2 down at HT, and now they're facing a 20 pt defecit. Looks familiar huh? Some teams just lose juice in the 2H.Comment -

Euroleague
_________
Maccabi Electra +1.5
Well I don't know the reason Maccabi are getting points here, maybe because they play at Marousi?
Anyway, that shouldn't matter, because Maccabi is a far superior team to Marousi in both talent and depth on the team.
Marousi need a win to get into the top 16, and at the same time Maccabi need to win to have a chance at spot #2.
I expect Maccabi to win this one by 5+Comment -

#232Damn just found out head coach of Marousi is good friends and goes way back with coach of Maccabi so if a certain result with CSKA/Caja happens that the coach of Maccabi will make changes to allow Marousi to win the match. Kind of a no-bet at this point.Comment -

yeah its been a weird couple of days in the euroleague, seems like some teams that have already secured a spot in the next round have been providing no opposition while some others were too gready, went all in and and didnt even rest any players making every possible game a coin toss
what's even worse were the teams needing a win against opponents with no motivation lost hands downComment -

#2371.18.10 (11:30am ET): [Finland Korisliiga] Karhu vs. KTP UNDER 175.5 (-105)
This is a monster total and some of the Finnish games lately have fallen flat. They played to 172 when they met earlier, a 100-72 KTP win at home. Form for both in the last 5 is solid scoring, outside of Karhu stinking on the road last time out. At home, Karhu has tallied 87,90,95,83 & 91 in their last 5. In their last five overall, KTP has hit for 478 points - a whopping 95+ point average. However, Karhu's home dates have only found better than this number in one of the last five. 4 of KTP's last 6 on the road have fallen under this total as well. This is more of a gut play from what I have seen as the numbers give you a little of both sides to the total, so proceed with caution as this could destroy the total and fly into the 180s or I'm hoping, fall into a nice high 160s range. Side note - money is on the over, pushing it up a half point this morning with juice at -125, above the usual -115 at my shop.Comment -

#2391.19.10 (2:00pm ET): [German Bundesliga] EWE Baskets vs. Goettingen OVER 150 (-115)
Little pressed for time, so not a big write-up here, but I did the research. EWE Baskets average almost 76 ppg at home this season, while Goettingen travels well, putting up 84+ points on the road. EWE Baskets do have a fairly solid defense at home, but Goettingen's D is not as solid as they give up over 80 ppg on the road. EWE has been a very consistent scoring club and I expect they will take advantage of Goettingen's pace and tendency to let the opposition score in bunches. EWE likely can top 80 here, leaving a potent Goettingen squad to need in the 70s - a very doable total.Comment -

1.22.10 (11:30am ET): [Russia Superleague] Dynamo Moscow vs. Lokomotiv Kuban OVER 147.5 (-115)
I must be an all-day sucker. These two played to 185 in the first meeting, albeit with overtime coming into play. Lokomotive hasn't been stellar on the road, but they have scored 75 or better in 4 of their last 5. Dynamo has topped 73 in 5 straight and their defense has allowed 73 or better in 7 of 8. Let's see what we know today.Comment -

#2453.24: [Eurocup] Aris BSA vs. Valencia OVER 143 (-115)
As per usual in these European competitions, the Greek sides usually perform better at home. Aris has been no different as they put up 80+ in their last two games at home in the Round of 16. Their low output at home during this competition has been 71. Valencia meanwhile performed well on the road in the Round of 16 with totals of 69, 72 & 82. Both teams remain in fine scoring form domestically and hopefully that carries over today. Aris has been sold from beyond the arc and the Spaniards love to shoot the 3 ball as well. Both teams are fully capable of getting into the 70s and if the flow remains free, I expect this could approach 150 or more.
