Good Value on Brooklyn to win the East at +300
I see good value on Brooklyn to win the East at +300 (+300 is available at points bet in Pennsylvania)

Risking 5 units to win 15

The Nets were horrible before the break since Harden was out of shape and dealing with injuries, in addition to wanting out.

Simmons has his limitations shooting, but he's a good defender who can guard every position on the floor and he's a great athlete attacking the paint. The problem in Philadelphia is Simmons played with a traditional center in Embiid, so the paint wasn't open. In Brooklyn they will play Simmons and Durant at the 5 in most games, and that will open up the floor.

Philadelphia made a big mistake including Curry instead of Maxey in the trade for Harden. Brooklyn now has far better role players than Philadelphia in Curry and Mills. Philadelphia's wing players are an overrated Tobias Harris and a washed up Danny Green. Korkmaz and Niang are limited too. It's also not clear if Harden will be able to get into shape and get his conditioning down, in addition to adjusting to the new rules limiting foul calls which have impacted players like him more than most, this season.

Canada, England, and most countries around the world are lifting covid protocols, Kyrie should be able to play home games soon.

Brooklyn is still clearly the best team in the East when Kyrie and Durant play at the same time. Milwaukee still has trouble finishing games since Giannis's shooting, including his foul shooting, is an issue. Philadelphia doesn't have very good role players since they traded Curry.

The only year Cleveland won a title with Lebron and Kyrie, Kyrie missed nearly half the regular season since he fractured his knee cap in the Finals the year before. Kyrie has missed most of the season, so he has fresh legs and he's less likely to get hurt in the playoffs like last year.

Simmons & Embiid will be defending each other in the playoffs for sure. Embiid will just be playing goalie and the nets will be shooting too many 3PA. Sixers wint he 'ship I think.

You might want to do a re-take on the Sixers supporting cast, which is v.strong imo. They have a "big 4" and excellent role players.

I find it funny that Simmons is going to be ramping it up the next few weeks. He knew the trade deadline was coming... wtf has he been doing? Do his mental problems prevent him from exercising? -and I thought exercise was good for mental health. Another NBA disgrace!

Completely disagree. Philadelphia's role players with Curry gone are Korkmaz who has been inconsistent, Green who has been inconsistent, Harris who has one of the worst contracts in the NBA, and Maxey has been okay but isn't a very good shooter to play off the ball has he will have to with Embiid and Harden.

Yeah, everyone knew the mental health stuff was to try and avoid fines, Harden likely overplayed his injury so he didn't have to play the final several games before the trade deadline.

I like Korkmaz/ Thybulle/ Niang. Milsap appears washed, but 3 subs is enough anyway.

AGAIN you way undervalue Tyrese Maxey and way overvalue Seth Curry and I'm not sure why. I said this on your post when you were talking about the Harden trade.

You miss the point. Maxey is not effective off the ball, which is the role he will play with Embiid and Harden. Curry is because Curry is a spot up shooter, something Maxey is not.

My point is not that Curry is better than Maxey, my point is Curry is a better fit with Embiid and Harden than Maxey.

Maxey is a liability defensively too because of his size.

I don't. We have different opinions.

My point is Curry and Mills are proven in the playoffs and are great 3 point shooters, those guys are not.

Its very simple. I expect almost every game between Brooklyn and Philadelphia, if they play each other, to be tied with 2 minutes left.

If its comes down to Mills or Curry taking a 3, that's a lot better than Green/Korkmaz or Maxey taking a 3.

Korkmaz & Niang are great shooters! Korkmaz is elite! Sixers will have a great chemistry with Harden & Embiid. Nets have a lot of questions to answer... I can see Durant & Irving fighting over shot-selection, or Simmons going into his shell. Why do they have so many pg? Is a 3 pg (i.e Irving/ Mills/ Curry) lineup going to work? Going to be a soft defense with 3 average sized humans on the floor aint it? They just signed Dragic. Harris back soon maybe. Lotta duplication, lotta complaining about mins.

Durant and Kyrie looked gr at together before Kyrie got hurt, they are both proven playoff performers

Philly is not on Brooklyn's level - and this is without Simmons.

The key with Simmons is that Brooklyn unlike Philadelphia in previous years doesn't need Simmons on the court in the 4th if he's missing foul shots.

Brooklyn's role players with Mills, Dragic, and Curry are far better than what Philly has.
