I watch all the games I can and even listen to radio broadcasts via the internet, mostly for the pregame shows. It is tough to watch from a basketball point of view, but for wagering it's the NUTS!

These teams have some of the best players in the league. I'm just going to parlay this for $40, until I get a feel for the WNBA. I heard it's easy money due to soft lines, b/c the books are trying to attract bettors.

What's your strategy for betting on WNBA?

I have followed the league for three years now and I guess I would say my strategy is to use that knowledge to find any edge that I can.

For example, Candace Parker of the LA Sparks is out due to having a baby three weeks ago. Some people like the defending champions Detroit getting five points in LA for this reason. Digging a little deeper though you find that LA picked up PF Tina Thompson from Houston in the offseason and as one of the great talents in the league will have something to prove in the home opener. Also two starters are out for Detroit - Cheryl Ford (knee) and Kara Braxton (league suspension).
