Lost 3 of their past 5 ATS. Not exactly HOT.

45-29 ATS overall (61 percent). Had covered in seven straight games before that and 24 of 28. That's inexcusable for oddsmakers.

I know they had a good run, but the oddsmakers have caught up now. Runs like that happen every year. Difficult to get it right on all 30 teams.

24-4 ATS run happen every year? Really? Guess I need to pay closer attention.

That's a lot of games to get wrong. And tonight, they're -2 at New York? Really?

Whoever is making these Heat lines has been failing miserably for months now.

whoa. From what is spewed by some on this forum, I thought all the scores are fixed by the books to keep that from happening....

regardless, thats how you do it by the way. Pick your horses and bet on them ATS all year long. Its usually mid-tier teams that are your money makers in that regard. Its been like this for as long as Ive been betting, especially in Tennis

It was a 23-4-1 run by the HEAT by my records. Hawks had a better run just 2 years ago: 26-4-1. Not uncommon at all.

So you can give me one example and call it "common"?

I remember that ATL run. I'm not saying it was a complete anomaly, but very, very rare.

                    Year before that Raptors 22-6.

Year before that Nuggets 19-5-1, Wizards 22-6.

Year before that, Spurs trade for Diaw, go 21-4-1

If it actually is that common let's find the angle. Anything in common between all those streaks? Playoff runs? Mid-tier teams over performing?

Rasheed to Detroit was quite a run I remember.

Pistons went on an 18-1-1 tear more recently, 07/08. I think that was the year Flip debuted as coach. The guards loved the improved offense. Defense eroded as the season went on.
