St. Mary's gets a push. I wish I had given you my 2 other plays as both Notre Dame and UTEP covered handily. Those were small plays though. Wether I had won, lost, or in this case pushed the bet I gotta say, the refs were terrible down the stretch. They called 6 fouls on St. Mary's in the last 5 minutes, only one on the Aztecs, Mills was getting bumped like crazy under the paint when he was driving and still no whistle. I understand it was a home game for San Diego State, but that was bullshit.

Even like that Mary's had a chance to cover if not win the game but Mills missed the front end of a 1 and 1 that would have tied the game with 38 seconds left and had a costly turnover with 13 seconds left and down by 3. I gotta give them credit for fighting through the big hole they dug themselves though. If anyone played it, I hope you pushed it too.

Also the line on Phoenix tomorrow opened at +7, a few more pointrs than I expected since they are fighting for a playoff spot.

I have more feel for phoenix than lakers. Lakers hasnt won in years at the Palace. Phoenix on the othe hand, is 11-1 SU in the last 12 meetings with Portland (with Portland winning only after Roy put up a humongous 50+ point effort)

I like the Lakers being the last team in the series of bets. I really like having Lakers -4.5 but I would suggest also maybe taking the Pistons to cover +9 now.

Tourney gets underway again tonight guys, locked Memphis -4 and Villanova +2 a few days ago. Memphis moved to -4.5 to -5 in most places, Nova actually went to +2.5. Also playing Pitt -6 (buying a point) and a small bet on Purdue +8 (with a point buy as well).

No NHL today, and 2 system bets LAL and Phoenix.

I cannot believe the line at BetUS for LAL is -9,5... arguably pistons +12,5 (buiyng 3pts) is a far better bet than LAL +6,5 so I'll probably take a chance. Hopefully both bets will be correct

You are absolutely correct. I booked it last at 7.5. JM touts for BetUs so much it causes drastic line movement if you wait too long. Anyone remember when JM "shared" his money at Christmas ? I had to deposit $500.00 to get a lousy $100.00 Free Play money. I won't fall for that scam again.

I agree with you on Detroit, but what do you think of Detroit +13? Like others here I have an account with BETUS, and considered skipping the A bet at BETUS when I saw the line at +10. I bet LAL at -5 at two of my other books, and then went back to BETUS and took DET at +13. Now I feel good about my A bet chances. With 3 possible outcomes.
1. LAL win by 6-12. I hit middle for $300.
2. LAL win by >13 = + $30. ( 200-170 )
3. LAL doesn't cover. -240 instead of -340 - move on to bet B, but only need to wager $440 instead of $540. to get back my lost A bet plus $200
This might be one way to use the inflated JM Player line at BETUS to our advantage.

I'd be interested to know how many road teams simply cover all games on a single trip. Seems like that alone would be rare, setting aside the point buying even. How many times has an NBA team gone on a trip of 3 games or more and covered every single one of them? Probably have to filter it down to lower tier teams to find a trend worth following there. But if you didn't have to buy any points, it'd make that C bet a much less risky prop so you could afford more losses.

Betting against the poor teams is interesting.

Another possibility is making a normal JM Game A bet. If it wins buy 3 and bet AGAINST them games B and C. I reckon you would be in positive territory for those B and C bets.

Guys, if JM sends you an email asking for you to buy the new MLB system, I wouldn't send him extra cash. He'll still email you the picks. I remember him asking for an extra $100 or something to get the NBA picks overnight. I never paid it and I still got it the night before. He'll still send you the picks. Good hit on the Lakers, they are looking good I might just start another series today @ NJ.

Phoenix got destroyed but they don't play again until Saturday @ Utah.

OKC starts today @ Toronto, getting 8.5 with the 3 point-buy.

Also playing Memphis +6 @ Sacramento since they pushed bet A for me and they have 3 more on the road.

Bet "B" on Milwaukee catching 15 @ Orlando.

For NHL I'm playing NJ on the puck line +1.5 (-260) as a "C" bet @ Chicago.

College hoops was a bitch last night as Memphis lost outright, Purdue didn't cover, and Pitt missed a free throw at the end of the game to cost me a push. Thank God Nova came through or I would have lost my ass. Leaning on Syracuse tomorrow.
