umm i would guess that should go without saying...everyone is all over those teams. what about the heat ...or okc ..or bobcats for that matter..or do u only like big name teams with big name players. not bashing just conversation.Sometimes I don't understand the picks.
Several times ppl say here on the forum. "Never bet against a team that is hot". Last Sunday here a PC bet versus ORL (hottest team atm) and everyone here picked BOS which is struggling last weeks.
Now same. LAL are hot, won 11 of last 12 and scored an average of 108. Most ppl here prefer SAS which are playing good but not great.
I take LAL and ORL as long as they give me easy money

I don't have all of my research in front of me but these are some 'leans'. I NEVER play this many games so I will not play all of them. My biggest question lies with Wake vs. BC. BC beating UNC was obviously a fluke. They came home and lost to Harvard and Miami. I think Wake is the real thing. Plus BC averages about 500 people at Conte Forum... Not much of a home court advantage.

i'm shocked at the hornets being favored in dallas....vegas has truly recognized how poor the mavs are ats at home, and have adjusted. now they dont even have to win to get the cash. i know howard is out, but hes worth maybe 2 pts. i'll probably still roll with the hornets, but would not be surprised to see this line come down off of 3. i'll welcome that movement.Comment -

joana - the knicks have not been scoring at all recently, and have played a ton of consecutive unders.
the knicks avg 103ppg, but wash only 93. on defense, the knicks give up 106 and wash 100.
i do like where you went with the historical total points in this game - they should break 200, but the total does seem about right based on recent games for both. the wiz havent scored 100 since 12/27, but the knicks defense should help them with that. i'll go...wizards 104-knicks 102Comment -

I don't necessarily like playing over/unders but I just can't see how the Warriors an the Kings will go under, given the poor nature of their defenses. Both teams shoot an alarming amount of 3 pointers. The Warriors chuck em up with the best of them. As far as the lakers and Boston, you should be okay with that one. I see San Antonio scoring 100 with ease in this one, as they are in the middle of a homestand, and coming off a tough home loss. The Lakers defensive rotation may be a little slow. There was a Josh Powell sighting yesterday, and if he is ever in the game and has to guard a saavy jumpshooter like Bonner, he won't want to go that far from the basket. Parker always abuses D-Fish because of a height disadvantage, and Duncan scores at will on Bynum because of the experience factor. Yet Gasol will get his tonight because he is an excellent player and the glue that holds the Lakers together. This should be a close game decided in the 4th quarter between Kobe and Ginobili. So I like the Spurs/Lakers over, and I don't like the Warriors/Kings under. Ity looks a little high, but believe me they can get that over with ease with K-Mart and Maggette-O shoting unconteseted shots all night long.Comment -
It's not a strong as the other picks that I have on tap, so i dropped it. I think that the players need time to jell together. The more that I looked at it, Toronto may in fact blow them off. The Bulls are enigmatic underacheivers, and they need to have some time on the floor together before i start throwing money in their direction. So they kind of disqualified themselves from my card whe I read that ALL of the players are now back, including cry-baby bust Deng with his inflated contract. Too many jumpshooters and no presence in the paint. That's what comes to mind with the Bulls.Comment -

I like Indy/Detroit Over 199.5! Indy has scored & given up 103+ for 11 straight games! The last time these 2 met it was 114-110! I know Detroit isn't exactly a greyhound team but Indy shoots 25+ threes a game and its easy to run when they don't go in! Considering Indy ML +105 too but O'Brien's rotation sucks in my opinion!

Thought Id get it in early and give you my take on the above game.
Amazingly enough, the Ravens D continue to overshadow the "Stiller" D in just about every news outlet. Lets briefly break this down:
In every major defensive stat, from Passing YPG/Rushing YPG/Pts Allowed/Overall def. the Ravens take a back seat to the steelers. Don't let last weeks score or yardage fool you. Pitt had the game well in hand and played a little prevent foolishly. Adv-Pitt
I give the edge in Special teams to Pitt, simply because of the speed and ability to put points on the board.
I don't believe the fatigue factor applies too much here. These teams HATE each other. They will be ready.
In terms of Injury:
Pitt - calf tweek for Polamalu- He'll Play of course
Ravens- Samari ROlle left last weeks game with a groin injury and LB Terrell Suggs is day to day with a shoulder strain. They both will play as well.
Pitt plays at home and this IMO bears more than the standard 3 pts here. This is the playoffs ladies and gentlemen, In Steeltown. With the winner going to THE BOWL OF ALL BOWLS>If you have ever been to a game in Pitt let alone a playoff game, you know. If you havent, place it on your list of something to do before you bite the dust. BIG ADVANTAGE TO PITT
Weather:- Either way slush/snow/rain or shine- these two teams are used to this weather.
Offense: I'm gonna try to keep this as short as possible. If Pitts running game is avg to above-this will be a long day for the Ravens. If they have to place another man in the box that exploits their secondary Leaving rcvrs washington, ward and holmes to one on one matchups.
The Ravens can run the ball, however this isnt an avg D they are going against so I anticipate yards being very hard to get. leaving a majority of the burden on the passing game.
I really like the new quarterback joe flacco. He's gonna be a good one. Simply dont like the matchup here. He hasnt been playing up to par lately, That doesnt bode well for the looks he will see on Sunday from that Pitt D. I'll Take Big Ben, playing at home along with much experience over the rookie on the road here.
Of course we have all heard the difficulty factor in winning against a team three times in one season.
