Yeah, their D isnt even MIA, they dont have one at all lol. But for 9 straight games it has been under the posted total. But that is a good point that the LA D is not worth trusting. I think I am just going to wait until tomorrow to see what happens with these lines, I probably will either take SA or just forget this game altogether. I'm thinking Parker will able to break down the Lakers defense and Duncan will abuse the Spanish Marshmallow and will school the inexperienced Bynum down low. He looked like the old Timmy against the Magic. I'm leaning towards a first half bet this one because I dont think San Antonio will blow LA out by any means, and Kobe is just too scary in crunch time.

Don't forget that the Lakers dominated the Spurs in the playoffs last year. It's really a tough call, imho.

ever heard of the term "revenge"?

spurs beat the lakers 3 of 4 match-ups in san antonio last year (2-0 during reg. season). lakers playing NO def as of late and are in a tough spot to beat the spurs tomorrow on the back end of a b2b against two solid teams. spurs are rested and steaming from the orl loss where the magic hit 99% of their 3's. also, i didn't get this from a reliable source, but i heard that Vujacic and Odom are listed as 'questionable'. MOREOVER, anyone like the fact that there is already rlm against the lakers w/ 80% of the public pounding them?

spurs get the job done tomorrow.

I think Odom had a MRI, will be out for 3 weeks? I think so anyway.

I'm rolling with Spurs, I liked the way they played vs Magic despite the result. I also love the form Tony Parker is on right now.

              My plays for tomorrow:
              Spurs -3

              Spurs -3/Boston -10

              Spurs-3/Boston -10/Portland -1/Atlanta -4.5 Teaser

Good morning all. CK loving the Surs. We need our to cash in on the PC play that they did not on Sunday.

Better get my NHL leans in now before I head out. Africanroller, letme know your thoughts bud.

                Pittsburgh ML
-washington seems to be in a small slump and it' a good time to continue to fade them. They continue to give up more goals over the last 3 games, 13 in total and have cut down the goals they scoring, 10 goals thelast 5 games and losing 3 straight. Pittsburgh on the other hand has started topick up their goal scoring. Some trends to supprot Pittsburgh, Capitals are 2-10 in their last 12 games playing on 0 days rest, Capitals are 3-11 in the last 14 meetings. Good value in Pit here as home dog.

                Detroit/Anahaim Over
-aside from Detroit being a scoring machine,Anaheim has recently found their scoring touch,13 goals last 4 games but along the way issurrendering more goals than usual. Some trends to support this, Over is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings in Anaheim.

                Atlanta ML
-just a hunch, after getting blasted 8-4 saturday night on the last game oftheir road trip they had some time to reflect. Ottawa looked impressive yesterday but going up against a rested team. Still not sure about this and not sure if i'm willing to risk -money for Altanta.

Letme know your thoughts. Have a great day!

You are correct about Vujacic. He is having back spasms and didn't even travel with the team on Tuesday. They list him as doubtful for tomorrow's game against the Spurs. Odom actually played last night against the Rockets but I don't know how his knee felt after the game. He admitted to still having pain in his knee on Monday but he still ended up against the Rockets. Either way, his knee still hurts him, the Lakers are short handed, and they will be playing a back to back.

something about laying points with the knicks that i dont agree with. 3-6 ats as favorites this year, and they come back to msg for their 1st game off of a 4 game mid-west trip. arenas is not going to be back for a while, so that news may be a positive for the other players on washington. expect butler to get out of his slump vs the horrible defense of ny.

                    _________________
the hornets have been very predictable recently, alternating wins/losses (both su and ats) the last 6 games. (trend suggests a win is up next) - now they travel to dallas who is off a btb coming from the high altitude of denver - we all know how brutal the mavs have been ats at home this year (4-14). factor in the hornets seeing red after a bad home loss to the nets, and i'm expecting an outright win for the hornets who will be catching about 3.

                    -hornets
                    ___________________
the spurs have had this game marked on their calendar from last years playoff series loss to LA. san antonio catches the lakers on a btb - where the lakers won a hard fought game in houston (kobe, gasol, fisher all played about 40minutes) while the spurs are rested/home - waiting off of that tough loss to the magic to get back into the win column. spurs are 3-1 ats last 4 at sa vs the lakers. i cant see the spurs losing 2 big games in a row.

                    -spurs (large)

this is probably one of the main reasons i'm on the spurs actually. a coach like popavich has had a long time to get his troops ready for a little payback vs the team that ousted them last year.

the fact that the lakers won last night, sets this up even better for the spurs. they need the game more, and essentially have to just win.

love the over on the lakers spurs game tonight. anytime the over for a lakers game is less than 200 it should win. look at last night. i got the over at 196 and it finished at 205. i know the spurs slow down the game but see this one going over 200.

2-2 yesterday had to chase, and luckily i took orlando for the second half, looking forward to a turnaround today, 5-3 on the week, prob only making two solid plays today. thinking about taking the spurs large im liking that pick, ck likes it and dexter, i think im on board.

TON of games on the board today

Like the CELTICS in the spot they are in
Diddo for SAS-(Lakers are injury written and SAS looking for some redemption on national tv)
Pacers, back @ home against a very raddled Detroit team. Like the home team and the points
I think the OKC is a good play if the line is below 7. They tend to cover over that figure often, and with them being @ home even better.

                                                  Ton of college ball tonight
Leans are on Michigan ST at the moment but will be back to update you guys on some other games

Toronto Raptors have been very good to me in the month of January and I am going to ride them today as well. Toronto is coming off couple of tough losses to Boston on a Home and Home series. Sure they were outmatched by Celtics, but I think they have enough talent to beat the Bulls. If they keep up the same intensity they showed in the 2nd Boston game, they should be able to win this easily. I know nothing comes easy with Toronto, but I’ll take them today at –4 (may be buy a point and get it at 3).

It's a straight parlay. Chances are against it hitting anyway, so i usually don't do anything less than 5 teams so that if it hits, it makes up for the times I've done it and it didn't hit, if that makes any sense! I don't place much stock in them. To me it's like playing the lottery everyday. If you look at it that way then it's not a big thing. When you're betting dimes and so on, 25 dollars is nothing.

Several times ppl say here on the forum. "Never bet against a team that is hot". Last Sunday here a PC bet versus ORL (hottest team atm) and everyone here picked BOS which is struggling last weeks.

Now same. LAL are hot, won 11 of last 12 and scored an average of 108. Most ppl here prefer SAS which are playing good but not great.

I take LAL and ORL as long as they give me easy money

                                                                        LAL +2.5 and LAL ML

It will be a close game, but I think (and hope) LAL will win.

Anyway , good luck to all, but think be4 you bet versus a hot team.
