    Whats Missing from LeBron's Game
LeBron is great...maybe the most talented player in NBA history

    BUT

I think the guys unselfishish works against him. I won't compare him to a point guard like Magic or more of a ball hog like Kobe. I would compare him more to Jordan and Bird....and how they were mentally superior to him. Jordan would pass but only if the guy was in a better position to score than Jordan was at the time like Kerr or Paxton for the finals winning 3s. He would pass but HE NEVER DEFERRED TO ANYONE. Same thing w/Bird....he was more unselfish than Jordan but if he determined that he was as open as anyone else than he put the shot up. James is different at this point....he's deferring to people that are guarded about the same as he is. Last night...standing at the top of the circle...clock is running and he dishes to Bosh for a loosely guarded 3...same shot he had. My point is...Pacers are very very rarely doubling LJ and he only puts up 18 shots. I bet Bird shot more than that and he had more help w/McHale, Parish, and the rest. Jordan/Bird and HOFers like that had the mindset that the ball runs thru me and if someone has to create a shot then it better be me cause I'm the best player out here. I think LJ struggles w/that kind of selfishness....a selfishness that actually helps a team because you're so much better than your teammates.
When you throw in the kind of athlete LJ is...he's prob still better than Bird although maybe not? Bird got 3 rings and 3-4 MVPs too. He'll never be better than Jordan imo for that missing part of his mental game and not much better than Bird.

Dwade is messing up his rhythm. Lebron would be dropping 40-8-6 and the Heat would be up 3-1 but Dwade is wasting 12-15 of the Heats possessions because he can't blow by people anymore and never learned to shoot.

Thats true...he came to Wade's team but its the coachs job to emphasize that its LJs team now. Its worked for them all year but now he needs to take over more and he often decides to pass the buck. They'll prob still win it all but he could be the best player ever if he would attack more. Hope he doesn't since I'm a Pacers fan.

I've felt the exact same way watching him in this years playoffs.. its seems most of the time he's too busy trying to hard to get his teammates involved which I feel takes away from him.. He needs to force his will more and take more shots a game than he currently does. I also think he needs to take the majority and much more of his shots on the block like he did in game 3 vs the pacers.. He can virtually back down any defender thats on him and I always question why Spoelestra doesn't design more plays to get him the ball down low

Just looked it up...Jordan had 26.3 shots per game in the 97 finals...last ring in 98...he had 27.3 shots per game. Bird only about 19-20 but he had great big men to pass to like McHale....James best option is to shoot it himself.

He cant shoot. Protect the rim and its a wrap for him. Do you really think if Lebron was playing against Kobe or Jordan and needed a walk off jumpshot to win the game he would make it?

I agree completely with what he said. His name is Lebrick and he is a bum who needs ref help to win titles. They lost to the celtics last season yet somehow won the "title". I don't really think lebron earned a single championship and even if he did it was a lockout season.

LeBron is so good because he's a freak of nature athletically. He's head and shoulders above everyone else. He's 10x the athlete Kevin Durant is. He gets so many points off of fast breaks that people think he's this unbelievable offensive player, but he's really not. He clangs jump shot after jump shot. He scores 30 points in the weirdest way possible. He's dominant because he's such an amazing athlete that no one can do anything about it.

in game 4 james rarely shot anything outside the paint ( except for 3 pointers). hes now posting up, going to the rim because he gets all the calls. hes wide open at mid range very often and doesnt take a shot he should deifintely take. he should toughen up mentally. "freak of nature" should not FLOP.

What are you going to say when Lebron goes for 35-9-7 tonight on 14-21 from the field? Chris Bosh should be cut from the team the way hes played this series. 12 rebounds in 4 games. Are you kidding me? Spotting up from three like hes Kyle Korver, instead of pump faking, and driving past Roy Hibbert. Dwyane Wade, hes played nice defense on Paul George, but has been average at best on offense. Im not sure you can call Wade a top 20 player anymore. People say that hes injured, but to that ill say when isnt he injured? The guy is chronically hurt. At lease last year in the playoffs Wade would have 1 game in 5 or 6 where he would go off for 30, he hasnt had one game like that thus far in the playoffs.

Lebron needs somebody to step up and help him offensively. Lebron cant guard all 5 pacers on the floor (though im pretty sure he has this series), and be expected to score 55 points, have 16 rebounds and 19 assists.

If either Wade or Bosh can manage to play how people expect them to play and how they are paid to play, then Heat cruise.

Bron Bron wont touch Jordan in the pantheons of players who have had the best careers. Its all relative, but I believe Lebron is a better all around player then Jordan. Relative to his time though, Michael was better. Kobe however, wasnt even the best player on his team for 3 out of the 5 rings he has.

Lay off Lebron and lets see how this thing plays out.

How about just stop turning the ball ov in the paint constantly. Been coughing it up way too much vs Indy last few games!

One thing I've always noticed about Lebron is that he somehow makes his teammates shrink under pressure. I don't know what happens and why they shrink but we're seeing the same things we saw in Cleveland. In Cleveland I thought it was because he would dribble, dribble, milk clock then wind up jacking a 3 or passing to a teammate with only a few seconds on the shot clock, effectively killing the offense. Now with the Heat, he doesn't milk clock as much but the same results. It's like guys are looking to him to be the answer and they lose confidence in their own ability. Wade and Bosh look like shrinking violets in these playoffs. Shrunk so small that you wouldn't know they are on the floor most of the time.
