Leans for Wednesday 1/7/09 PC Play Alert

I had a feeling this would be the play. The Cats can't possibly keep up with the Celts and Cavs on two consecutive nights...I might make this my only play tomorrow so I hope it hits. I need to bet on something that wins instead of the losers. I'm still kicking myself for chaning my picks tonight from Tulsa to NYK and CHA and the over to CHI/SAC over. Learning can be painful and expensive at times.

PC play on a "strange animal"?? I'd either tease em or do the dog on the Cavs. personally.

I like your other play. Looks good. I just don't trust the Cavs with my money anymore.

Dude, your not betting on the strange animal (Celts). Your betting against the team that beat them the game after. If you read CK's speil properly, no team bar the Lake show have won the following night after beating the Celts.

The Wiz are 1-6 as a fav and 1-7 vs. Atlantic division oppenents. They are only scoring 89 points avg in their last five. Plus I don't see anybody who can guard Bosh for WAS.

I think the Bobcats cover, if the spread is 14 or over.

In the first two matchups CHA didn't have Diaw who is playing real well for them.

Plus Okafor has stepped up his game lately. That should continue w/ no Z.

early look

memphis is 2-13 on the road playing their 3 gm in 4 nights and the 2nd of a back to back.. they are playing n.j but i really dont like this play..
its waaaay early but right now the play i like is indiana because phoenix plays dallas next and then goes on the road to play the clipjoint who is in there division.. all the money will be on phoenix and you will get a ton of points....
my early look play is indiana..

im also considering denver w/out melo vs. miami.. so far everybody is betting miami and if this keeps up i'll be on denver..

right now im scared of the cleve pc pick cause cleve plays boston next.. the good thing about the pc pick so far though is in early betting its 50% betting each side so the public so far isnt loading up on cleve..

my "personal plays" yesterday went 1-1 w/ a loss w/ ball st and a win w/ the utah utes.. they are 3-2 and are givin between 5:30 and 6:30 central time in the thread...

I'm looking at the total for the Raptors/Wizards. Line opened at 191 but the OVER is 5-0 when these two teams have met in Washington. In addition to that, the OVER is a perfect 10-0 in the last 10 meetings between these teams. In the last five meetings, the average line is about 197 though their games have hit scores of 241, 198, 212, 205, and 216. Washington has no low post presence to defend the paint. They started Darius Songalia last night against the Magic but it doesn't matter who they start in the middle because they have no interior presence anyways. The Raptors will be missing Jermaine O'Neal (out until Friday), they'll have soft Bargnani manning the paint. Some more interesting information is the Raptors allow the second most three point field goals made in the NBA, allowing their opponents to drill a little bit over 8 per game. The Wizards don't fare much better as they allow their opponents to hit about 8 per game as well. I'm looking forward to seeing some fireworks tomorrow boys! I don't know why the total opened so low, but I'm going to have to take this one because I think it will go up at least a couple points by tomorrow. I hope this doesn't come back to bite me like the Wolves/Grizzlies total yesterday. One of their games is probably bound to go UNDER but if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Awesome info The Kid. The thing that jumps out at me is if they have gone over 10 times in a row aren't they due for an Under game? Pretty rare to get 10 in a row of anything. UNLESS YOUR THE DETROIT LIONS!

starting guard bogans defense will be missed against joe johnson. foul prone lee and bench warmer rdick will play significant mins. lewis against the pumped smith who has been playing well for a few games.
