3 NBA picks for today look like good value. Huge card today so there's definitely other valuable spots but these are the top 3 in my opinion.

1) Memphis -7 over Portland. No Zbo/No DA. No problem? Portland is 8-21 away from home while Memphis is 23-8 at home. Portland has lost their last 6 on the road and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games. Portland is just not deep enough, they will stay close until the end of the 3rd quarter and Memphis will likely pull way in the 4th.

2) Spurs vs Bulls UNDER 191. No Tony Parker will hurt the spurs offensively but likely help them defensively. He is the primary play maker so easy baskets will be harder to find. Also Kurt Hinrich is out for the bulls, so they will struggle on the offensive end. Look for a high 80s/low 90s game.

3) Clipper vs Bucks OVER 205. Neither of these teams have any defense sans Larry Sanders, both teams love to run as well. Look for a high scoring game and I can see the over being around 206/207 by the time tip off begins.

Small card today which is typical for Thursdays.

1) Denver -4.5 over Clippers. Denver matches up very well in almost every position as both of these high tempo teams have very similar playing styles. Ty Lawson has been playing great and is averaging 23.8 points per game over his last 11 games. he actually matches up with Chris Paul quickness which will disrupt the Clippers half court offense. Overall the clippers are on a back to back and travelling to the Mile high city will prove to be too much as the Nuggets pull away in this one.

2) OKC vs Knicks OVER 207. Carmelo is day to day but he will probably play, either way it does not matter because the Knicks have enough offense between JR Smith, Felton and Amare to reach the century mark. Also, the knicks are without Marcus Camby tonight which again gives a slight edge to the offenses. OKC has been on fire, Durant and Westbrook will run free in this game as the Knicks only good defensive player is Chandler/Shumpert. Look for this OVER to be covered rather easily.

3) Clipper vs Nuggets OVER 214. The clippers just covered their OVER last night against the bucks in a 117-101 victory (218 total). The Nuggets have a much more potent offense than the bucks and both teams like to get out and run. This is another easy cover and this game might even go into OT. Which has been happening at a 7.3%clip this year, over 1% from the NBA season average.

I'm not from USA either. I'm actually not far away in Latvia. Also bet on soccer sometimes, but just sometimes, because it's my sports favourite, since I played it myself, and I prefer to watch it without gambling stress.

1) Spurs vs OKC Under 207.5 1unit
2) Brooklyn vs Philly OVER 184 1unit

Player Props:

1) Kevin Durant UNDER 29.5 points (-115). Durant only averages 21 points against the defensive minded Spurs. The lowest out of ANY team. 2units

2) Steph Curry UNDER 25.5 points (-115). He is averaging 17.7 points and shooting 36% over his last 3 performances as he is in a mini slump. 2unit play here.

3) Al Jefferson OVER 18 points (-120). Big Al has averaged over 24 points and shot over 60% in his previous 3 meetings against the Pistons. He dominates their bigs down low. 1unit

4) Ty Lawson OVER 7.5 assists (-115). Ty Lawson has averaged nearly 10 assits in his last 3 meetings against Phoenix. Their swiss cheese defense will likely result in him getting at least 8 this time around. 1unit

5) Jrue Holiday UNDER 18.5 points (-115) 3units. Play of the day for me. Jrue has been slumping hard over his last 6 games and is averaging only 12 points per contest. Combine this with Brooklyns stingy defense and a recipe for the under is made.
